Le Quartier Francais is one of the best small hotels in the world. Its on the high street in Franschoek and has a couple of dozen rooms which mostly face on to the pool. Nice bar and great restaurant and staff very helpful and obliging. Its a bit pricey though for what you get, and there are plenty of much cheaper alternatives which are almost as good.
