Although the Bellamanga Guest Farm is a lovely place, it is not suitable for small children, especially in the forest lodges. They are quite high off the ground with no barrier around the stoep. The biggest danger is a large green lake adjacent to the lodges and a deep swimming pool, neither of which have any protection from wandering toddlers! The lodges themselves are very rustic and do not have facility to do washing. There are also not serviced and have very poor lighting outside at night! Access to the estate is via a gravel road, through a field and across a makeshift rickety bridge - very dangerous at night as it is not lit!

Bella Manga ..... Even the name sounds good, and you will think the same when you have sampled the pleasures and delights of a stay with Ray & Fiona Beresford on their guest farm.
Set beneath rolling green hills covered with old established woodland, topped with clear blue skies and the ocassional ball of white cloud, a unique location that only you can enjoy.... tranquil and yet full of humour and laughter provided by your hosts... You will really feel like you're on holiday with your best friend.... I did!
There is a lot to do at Bella Manga: Quad Bikes, clay pigeon shooting, or just walking through the trees and visiting the dam lakes...
Try it, you will like it....and it's only five minutes from Plettenberg Bay by car.
