We just returned from a stay at the Gomo Gomo game lodge in Timbavati. It was fantastic! We saw all of the big 5, including a leopard feeding meat to her cub. Four male elephants crossed the river to roam through the camp as well. Our two daughters aged 7 and 9 thoroughly enjoyed the game rides and the ranger kept them entertained throughout. We will be returning!

We had an amazing stay at the Timbavati Game reserve (open to the Kruger Park so Big 5). We stayed in the Gomo Gomo lodge which was superb - incredible bird watching right in the camp! We stayed in a beautiful wooden bungalow and found the staff friendly and helpful. Had an unbelievable encounter with a pride of about 8 to 10 lion (young males, lionesses and 2 HUGE males) and were so close to them!! Superb meals in the lapa overlooking the river. Great place for our kids too as family orientated (why we chose this lodge). All in all an amazing time! Would go back for sure and highly recommend it.
