The Molweni Game Farm is about 2 hours from Port Elizabeth; they have just started what they call the Nguni Cattle Roundup. I joined the first one and what an exciting, different experience it was! It is an adventure on horseback, the main aim to find, gather and herd the cattle on the farm to areas where they get dipped, tagged, branded etc, but en route we rode past giraffe and wildebeest - and the scenery was beautiful too. I felt like a real cowgirl, dashing around the bushes to round up the cows! And after each day we were pampered with superb food and accommodation. 3 days of exhilarating adventure together with four nights of well-fed relaxation combined to give us an exceptional encounter that balanced horseback riding, cattle work and game viewing.
