Barcelona - fab city! Go to the Gothic cathedral and Gaudi's Parc Guell (not sure of spelling)and to the Picasso museum. We enjoyed our trip to the awesome football stadium. A bit of a walk from the nearest underground and not very well signposted. And do try the cable car trip from the beach. Loved Las Ramblas. Tour Operator: Lastminute

But as for the Laietana Palace..... More like a 2* hotel in my opinion. Pathetically small rooms (double bed pushed up against the wall meant I had to clamber over my partner), rumbles from the underground that passes under the hotel, views from our window of crack heads and junkies dealing! But very handy for the underground (obviously) and close to Las Ramblas. Tour Operator: Lastminute
