This was my first time to Benidorm and was so relieved we chose to stay at Flamingo Oasis.
All aspects of this hotel are just ace! The hotel is just so huge and luxurious it was a pleasure to be staying in.
Food was good, lots of choice. But by the 2nd week I couldn't face anymore. Entertaiment was brilliant, something happening for all ages all the time from early morning till late at night. Our room on the 23rd floor was very specious with a big balcony. We had a pool and sea veiw! I will be requesting a low floor next time so I can use the stairs if needs be. I'm not scared of lifts, it's just that I felt very uncomfortable being packed in with about 10 other people. But the lifts are ok. They are very quick taking you to the floor you want. The only time there is a problem with waiting for them is at peak times i.e breakfast, tea time, departing and arriving.
Staff were mostly freindly. Location is about 15 mins from beach but it's a nice walk. I'd recommend for all ages and families. Im so looking forward to going here for the summer!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel, the 1st time was much better than this one. Hotel was very clean and reception, bar and restaurant staff very polite, although cleaners were very ignorant. Great choice of entertainment for little ones and adults.. food started off great but got really repetitive, not much for our 4 year old to eat. The outside pool was freezing cold so we used the indoor one which was a little warmer; the indoor one also has a jacuzzi which was really nice to relax in. Because of the shadows from new hotels it feels like musical sunbeds, if you want to stay in the sun all day you have to move around alot. There is a rooftop sun terrace but kids are not allowed up there. The lifts are a pain, can never catch one to go down so in the end we walked. A bit better going up but not much. All in all it was a good holiday and a lovely hotel. Tour Operator: Thomas Cook

An excellent hotel with usually great food, however this seems to tail off a little in the summer when the management dont put the same effort in. Saying that it was a great holiday and if you do get bored Steve & Sam at the corner bar across the road offer a warm welcome, great food, sports and betting for us compulsive gamblers. I am just back from the Hotel Famingo Oasis where I spent 10 days with my mum and dad. We were originally on the 23rd floor but asked on the first day to get moved. The staff were extremely accomodating and moved us to the 7th floor straight away. The Hotel staff were fabulous and the entertainment was clearly the best we have ever had at a hotel. The food was exceptional and outwith meal times snacks of the highest standard were served. Guests could eat thouroughly enjoyable food all day long if they wished. The Flamingo Oasis hotel hosted theme nights and offered a glass of champagne when entering the dining room. The only draw back from this hotel was the amount of smoking that occurred. The dining room was non-smoking but people smoked everywhere else and coming from a non-smoking family I did not like this. People even smoked while sunbathing and I have never encountered this before or the vast number of smokers that were there. However, Flamingo Oasis Hotel is such an exceptional hotel that I would return and just avoid smokers. Tour Operator: Thomson

Lovely hotel, nicely presented. The food was terrible, the staff were like zombies apart from a few. There was a bad eggy smell by the lifts, the entertament was terrible, ok for kids. Wot you didnt eat for breakfast was served for dinner and tea. The lifts are a pain in the arse and it leaks when it rains. There was a party of 15 of us in the hotel all on separate floors. Dont mistake this hotel for its sister hotel the Flamingo that is lovely only 3 star but much better. We're not fussy but expect a good service from a 4 star hotel.

The hotel is amazing the reps keep everyone entertained. The food is alright but not the best. There is three pools but the outdoor one is really cold, but would be warmer in the summer time. Well the hotel is great and I am stayin agen in August 2006 thats how good it is and it will be my third time there at the same hotel. Well thats it really!! Have a good time if you are going to that hotel am sure you will enjoy it as much as i did. Tour Operator: Thomson

Benidorm has one of the cleanest beaches I have been to. I admit the hotels are very high rise, however the standard of hygiene
and the quality of service and food is excellent. There is something for everyone. Late night clubs and bars, entertainment bars with karaoke, comediens, singers and plenty of family friendly bars. I have been here with my young family and they loved it. I have also been with just my husband and we had a totally different holiday alltogether! Staying out till past 4am!!
If you visit Benidorm you must take time to go to the Benidorm Palace, where for 35 euros you have an evening of various entertainment with a 5 course meal that is out of this world. All in all Benidorm has something to suit all needs. Try it!
