I liked Benidorm, very clean, people friendly. The only bad point was my hotel (Hotel Marconi) not very good, rooms were spacious, was put to the back of the hotel no view whatsoever. None of the staff could speak English, we went half board and the food was crap. Crispy scrambled egg in morning with fatty rashers of bacon, in the night we didn't know what anything was, no food labelling. Didn't cater for any Brits. This one women who stayed there could talk Spanish so she done most of the complaints for us. Well thats enough about the hotel! Benidorm is a wonderful place. the new town is better than the old town, we went to many bars such as Bourbons bar, Queen Vic, etc but the best bar we went to was Picadilly Park situated on the front. Good karico there and just 1 Euro a pint. So much to do I would advise people to stay for two weeks not one like us.
