We booked for 4 weeks, back in Aug.05, through Zand Properties, for April 06, we also booked a second apartment for our son and familly for 1 week, during our stay. The apartment was the worst that I had ever seen, the windows and mirrors had not been cleaned this century, let alone this year. The place was dark, probably because the privet was 20ft high and a huge palm tree was growing into the bedroom balcony. The chair and settee were fillthy and the kitchen was very poorly equipped, being self catering I thought that it would come with a bread bin, butter dish, milk jug, it only had 2 pans to cook in. My husband went to their office to complain but was told that it was up to the owner as to what was provided, it was dangerous as wires were bare. every day we both had bites from some critter. My sons apartment was a little better, it was clean and better equipped, but the bathroom light never worked, no switch, just hole in wall, which Zand Properties were told about but never done anything about. We had seen the advert for the apartments in our local paper, which read, clean well equiped apartments... never again. Benidorm itself was ok, too many touts.
