The rooms at the Stella Maris Hotel were ok and the restaurant and food was good, However I was short changed at the bar very deliberately and found the general service from the bar/cafe extremely poor. The Hotel has some very iffy people working there so beware.

Stayed at the hotel with my family for 4 days half board in April 2008. The hotel itself is about a mile from the main town but a pleasant walk to get there along the narrow sandy coastline. The rooms are fair, clean and fairly typical overlooking other apartment blocks. There is a small outdoor pool that was a bit too cold for us to use in April. The food in the restaurant was well prepared and offered a fair selection. The worst point for us was the service in the cafe/bar, we were blatantly short changed by a female staff member and after we had complained and had to call in the manager we were treated poorly by other staff in the bar when we went in there the following day. We felt unable to use the cafe/bar facility after this event which spoiled our last day.
