I'm so glad to be home. Would not recommend. Unfortunately our tour operator booked us into this hotel and not our required choice of Olympic Park in Lloret de Mar. Myself (32), my husband (36) and 6 yr-old son were all incl. & arrived on 19 May 2008 - by 21 May we were ready to leave! Unfortunately we had to wait until 29th May. The room had paper thin walls (which we took into account when it came to the neighbours) - we got a max. of 5 hrs sleep if we were lucky. Wardrobe did not open & light bulb blown - did not get repaired/replaced, light - we reported this every day. Bath did not drain properly, & we showered in a 3 inch pool of water. Shower was hot, but water did not come out properly. Rooms are very small & it was a squeeze for 3 of us - not enough wardrobe space for 3. Beds were made every day, but sheets were never changed in the whole time we were there. Very very very basic. When neighbours shut their door the mirror fell off the wall. No air cond.
Food and drink was always either pork/fish or turkey. Always cold. No consistency when the food was replaced. Started with boiled potatoes & changed for roast potatoes half way through the sitting. I found a piece of plastic in my blaumange & the staff were not interested when I complained. Desserts were always the same, lack of variety & cakes all had nuts in them. The food was awful- not allowed to take food/drink into restaurant or take it out. The snacks are in the restaurant, so if you are laying by the freezing cold pool, you have to go inside.
Beer/fizzy drinks always flat. All inclusive did NOT mean AI! You basically drank what you were told. Could only order 2 drinks at a time, 3 members of bar staff, serving queues on average of 20 people. Would take a minimum of 20 minutes to get served. Very limited on what you could have.
Kiddy Club - my son was bored. Colouring, playing babyish games. Took children to the beach, without advising parents - we did not know where our son was for half an hour. Evening activities started at 9pm until 10.30, which is far too late for children.
Hotel staff were very nice to begin with until you had a complaint or issue. Then they were very rude and ignorant. We complained every night about the NOISY neighbours by phone as we were told to, but ended up going from floor 7 to ground floor reception in pj's to complain. Only interested in taking money for their excursions & then giving false information & argued they were right, when they were actually wrong. Very argumentative. Would not help us with finding out about excursions that they didn't organise.
Waitresses arguing during meal times while clearing tables at the speed of a snail and leaving the trolley with the dirty plates behind tables. Tables packed so close together that when you were sitting, you couldn't get out. There is not enough staff to cater for a hotel of this size. If you ever decide this is for you don't go in May/June, because the hotel is over-run by rude, selfish & vile Germans who think it's fun to wake you up at 10.30pm when they go out & 5am when they come in - they finish their exams in May. The smell in the hallways of fish and rotting meat is so offensive. This is a glorified hostel. Calella town is lovely, but there is a lot of walking - this high street is so long. There is a train that runs through the streets, which was great. Lots of friendly local bars and places for the children. A tobacconist and supermarkets 300yds from the beach, which was great. You can play volleyball football, sun loungers are available and a few bars. It's better to sunbathe on the beach, because the hotel pools got a lot of shade and there weren't enough loungers for the number of guests. Please don't book in here!

The H. Top Olympic hotel was by for the worst hotel that I have ever had the unfortune to spend time in and it was like doing time!I bet people have spent time in jail better than this! A complete waste of money there were 4 of us ranging from 23 years of age to 74 years of age.
