Fantastic! Half board food for everyone and was all delicious! Hotel was in a perfect position, you could get the train to the theme park or we timed it as a 4 min walk so it was just as easy to walk! We loved the evening entertainment. Everything very clean. Loved the pool!

No problems whatsoever with the accommodation at El Paso Hotel. Clean and tidy. Facilities fab, lovely big, clean pool, evening entertainment to suit everybody and a great laugh! Food buffet to suit everyone and brill themed food nights! Easy access to Port Aventura theme park and Costa Caribe water park, get the shuttle bus or just a 5 min stroll! The beach club exclusive to Port Aventura guests was lovely, not too busy even in July and a nice relax on the sun beds then choose which of the many pools to swim in first! To say El Paso is the cheapest hotel definitely great value for money and if I went again which I probably will, I would want to stay in the same hotel. Fireworks are fab too! The only thing is when you go to the Costa Caribe water park check all the hidden costs i.e you have to pay for lockers, sun beds and even the inflatable rings you need for some of the rides!

wonderful food and waiters/ waitresses, yet reception staff were a big letdown. We had to wait 4 hours to get our room on arrival - a whole day of our holiday wasted! We also had ants in our room covering a whole bed - disgusting!!! Reported this to reception but nothing was done. One of the people I went on holiday with also reported money missing from where she had hidden it. PLEASE get a safe!! Take ant powder or bug spray!

Stayed at El Paso Hotel in May '07. We had free entry to water park as well as theme park. My wife and I took our two daughters for a week. One of the best holidays we have been on. Children never once said they were bored, plenty of things to do. Just booked again for next year. Food excellent, soft drinks for kids bit of a rip off. Only negative thing was flight home was 21h10 and we had to be out of our room at 11h00. Cases were taken away but only half an hour we got in a room for a shower to freshen up and that was at 3 o'clock.

My wife and I took our 6 year old grandson to stay at the El Paso May 12th 06 and I must say that this must rank as one of the best holidays we have ever had. The hotel itself is spotless clean (this includes the grounds). The gardens are well maintained, the staff are well mannered and well groomed (very smart) and all speak good English. The holiday package included free entry to the Caribe Water Park and Portaventura Theme Park for the length of the stay. The hotel had so much going on we only went to Portaventura twice and as the pool and the pool area was so good, we didn't even go to the Water Park. The entertainment staff for the kids (Animatio) was second to none (where the guy leading the team got his energy from is beyond me!) From morning to night he was entertaining. He even managed to get my grandson up dancing on the open air stage. He was professional, funny and very entertaining. The stage acts at night in the open air were amazing - something for everyone. Next year we will be booking for 2 weeks! Thankyou El Paso for a memorable holiday - money well spent! Tour Operator: Thomas Cook

I stayed at the El Paso hotel which is part of the Universal Port Adventure park. Although it is situated outside of Salou you have got everything on site that you could wish to want. The pool area is out of this world offering the kids adventure with a private ship in the middle of the pool. From staying at this hotel you get unlimited entrance into the Universal park which is just fab, a definate adrenaline rush! The rooms are very spacious and can accommodate up to 4 people very comfortably. The hotel is based on half board and the food is buffett style and suits everyone. The beach is a bit of a distance from the beach but they do offer a free shuttle bus to the beach. Tour Operator: First choice
