Rubbish, do not waste your money at Torremolinos Beach Club. Would you want to be in a pool with cockroaches crawling about the life guard? Didn't even speak English. Food was Spanish, no English cuisine. Entertainment was alright. If you're bringing teenagers, there's nothing for them to do unless they really want to do drawing competitions.

Hotel was ok, entertainment was excellent, nothing for Kids to do during the day. The shops were really nice. Lots of People. Caught a bug in the hotel and saw a cockroach in the bar. Would not go back there again.

Let's put the record straight about food causing upset tummies. We saw many guest drinking from 10am and changing to other alcholic drinks. They then sat back in hot sun, they had ice in their drinks. This would cause heat stroke. Now for my holiday my wife & I worked at the hotel in 1974 she was the nurse & I was a blue coat. This is when Sir Fred Pontin owned the hotel. I am full time in a wheel chair and cannot walk at tall. Major point this is a excellent hotel for the disabled. The only problem is if you use a self propelling wheel chair and it's wider than 56cm, sorry you would not be able to use bathroom. I have small wheels & with bathroom door there were no problems. The food is excellent. I ate lobster, pawns, mussels, a lot of fish. The choice is so great that if you go hungry it's your own fault. There is entertainment and a childrens club. It even has a cinema showing 2 new films a day and show major football matches by Sky. The prom is wonderful for walking and if you want cig/cigars at Spanish prices its a 8 min walk. The shops you first come across are cheaper than the ones nearer to town. Bottle of Bell's whisky was 13.50 (9.44). Closer to town they were charging 18.50 which is (12.94). You see what I mean? The railway stations is 8 mins away and the disabled facilities are wonderful. A great ramp up to the station then disabled lifts to take you to the right platform. The station is unmaned and you buy your tickets by a machine. If you are like me and cannot walk at all don't go as the train has 3 steps to climb to get onto the train. This was recommended by the tourist information. Do not go up the side streets as they have put in small stumps which vibrate through the wheelchair and cause a lot of spine pain. The hotel even telephoned the railway head office after speaking to 3 diffrent people and no one knew if the trains were disabled friendly. I did become very ill with my own disease and the hotel were brillant from hotel manger Pac to everyone there. I will have to give up flying because you cannot trust the assistance to get on and off the plane and can cause more pain. I did the booking myself: the plane direct, hotel, med hotels, taxi from airport. You can also get a wheelchair converted one but the price is a lot more because of being disabled. By doing this way we saved 400, rather than going through travel companies such as Thompsons, ect. The hotel is brillant and all they want to do is please you. Sir Fred I know will be proud. What he set out to do has been done. We met people who have been going to the hotel every year for 20 years. This was May 2007 for 10 days. One last thing - go to British Airways or Monarch I have found them to be cheaper than others British airways. The price includes food and drinks at no extra cost.

What can i say our party consisted of two adults and one 15 yr old. The hotel was outstanding & all staff including the night time security guard were very friendly. Food plentiful & very good, grounds & facilities well looked after & clean. Enterainment good & varied if a little biased to the older end of the spectrum. Only downside was a group of young british girls partying in their room until 2 or 3 in the morning, This is how we became friendly with the security guard who managed to sort them out.All in all an excellent holiday. This was our second visit to the Beach Club as we stayed there in June 2001. We loved it then, and still thought it was great - well worth the money. The food was very good and always piping hot and there was so much variety to choose from - either burgers, pizzas, pork, chicken, beef, fresh salads etc etc, so theres something for everyone. There is also snacks available mid morning and afternoon which is basically just toast, sandwiches, cakes etc (we thought they should have served the pizzas mid afternoon and at night time as they were lovely and would have gone down a treat !). Endless amounts of ice-creams for the kids and drinks (word of warning - the spirits blow your head off - very strong!), although last time when we went there were also crisps available, but not anymore for some reason? The rooms were spotless with maid service every day. Very spacious with a breathtaking view over the sea. The entertainment was good - something for the kids, then bingo, then something for the adults. Overall this is an excellent hotel and well worth the money. If you've got kids they'll love it at the Beach Club - we hardly ever saw our 6 year old daughter as during the day she was playing with her friends in the pool, then at night time she was either on stage or playing in and around the hotel! Definately a family orientated hotel and comes very highly recommended. Tour Operator: Thomson

It was fantastic. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the food was excellent. I've been to many all inclusive hotels and this was the best. There was such a variety and there was a corner dedicated to food for the kids. Including sausages, jacket potatoes, pizza (with huge variety of toppings they could choose from), beans, chips, burgers. It was very good. The rooms were in excelent condition, very clean. Activities within the hotel included mini golf, table tennis, snooker tables etc. (there was a full games room). It annoys me when I read reviews which say such things like, 'well i was ill so i would recommend you stay away from this hotel'. Just because you were ill doesn't mean you should blame it on the hotel. It is out of order saying things like that. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel. Tour Operator: Thompson
