Shocking Holiday at Amuley Mar - Juliet Brookes. Date of travel: May 2007

Ignorant residents at the complex, electricity failed 3 times the first day, unable to use downstairs shower due to electrical equipment being submersed in water! The property owner tried to blame us for this, but obviously it was the previous rental occupants. Next door to our "house" was a resident who decided to start LOUD building work at 8am, when my husband asked him politely how long the noise was going to continue for he got aggresive and slammed the door in his face! The roads around and leading to the property are in an unsafe and unfinished state, basically full of big bricks and stones. Also the communal pool was out of use for 2 days due to the water turning a dubious shade of green!! On our return to England my husband had to negotiate with the property owner for our refundable deposit of £150 as he was trying to lay the blame on us for his neglect. Beware of this complex.

Just got back from Amuley Mar 1 no18. Excellent place, all the home comforts, pool great, no noisy neighbours. All credit to Donald and Sue the owners and Paul and Sandra who are there if you need them. Go try and enjoy this top place.

The property (Amuley Mar) was in an excellent location and offered everything that was needed for an enjoyable holiday. The furnishings were very modern and the house was exceptionally clean and well provided. We enjoyed our time at the house and would love to return again. A++++++
