The Corona Roja is a great hotel for young people who are out to have fun and be as loud as you want! Some of the rooms are a bit small but who cares you only sleep and shower in them! The Hotel is fab for what you pay, although the pool could be a bit cleaner! We made loadz of friends and i would say the Irish Center is the best, every one is soo friendly and you just have a top night!

The Corona Roja in Playa del Ingles is NOT recommended for families and couples, but is great for 18-30s who are travelling in groups and just looking for a cheap place to bed down. As a result partygoers return at all hours and the hotel can be quite noisy for those tucked up in bed - like us - but looked like the youngsters were having a ball! Staff not too helpful, but I suppose they get tired of dealing with young, drunken blokes trying to cause trouble! Corona Roja has a great location, and the nightlife in Playa del Ingles is extremely lively!

We stayed on the first floor which was great because the balcony was joined onto 3 other apartments in which we became friends with another 3 different groups of friends before we even hit the nightlife. The atmosphere at the pool was amazing. We got on with everyone because all that were staying in the hotel were there for a good time. Very noisy at night(sorry if you went from 21st-28th July last year - it was all our crowd making the racket.) Best week of my life and this hotel made it even better!

Although we knew that Playa del Ingles is a very popular party place and had been warned, we should have been a bit more careful when booking our accommodation because despite clean rooms, great service and a perfect location, the Corona Roja apartments where we stayed were very noisy and we had drunk people shouting outside our door two nights in a row (and not the same people!). The staff were friendly and helpful though and my wife and i did enjoy ourselves. We just recommend that you bring ear plugs, or try and find somewhere a little quieter! Tour Operator: Independent
