I stayed at the Dorotea in July 07, with my husband, my 16 year old son and his friend. The staff at the apartments were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean and all overlooked the pool. On our last day we weren't flying home until 12.45pm but the manager let us keep our room until 11pm free of charge. The apartments were central to everything and I would go back there again.

I stayed at the Dorotea Apartments this year; it was my first holiday away with out my parents. I found staff very welcoming and the room was clean and the furnishing was basic. The only problem with the apartment was the cleaning after we got there, when we arrived it was very clean but we soon discovered that the cleaners only came every three days which I found pretty disgusting, because of this the bed sheets were not changed and we only got new towels once! On a couple of occasions we had to ask hotel staff for toilet roll, for a brush and mop to clean the floor and shower cleaner. The pool was really dirty, on a few occasions there were plasters in the water and it was dirty with hair and spit!!! Over all we didn’t spend an awful lot of time in the apartments it was more like a changing room and a bed!! The rest of the time we were on the beautiful beach and shops! The nightlife was brilliant and I would recommend the bar Linekers and the Irish bar!!

The Dorotea apartments are very central to the Yumbo and Kasbah centre, clean and very spacious for 2 people. Only down side was our flight was not until 12am and we had to leave our room at 12pm so 12 hours without any comforts and no courtesy room for a shower, Playa del Ingles is a fab place for all people!
