Fantastic holiday - Sheehan. Date of travel: May 2008
Just back from our second holiday in the Green Park and what can I say only fantastic. The apartments are basic but have everything you need. The staff couldn't be more helpful. The cleaners came every day. The pool is cleaned every day. The food in their restaurant, 'Captain Jacks' is great, especially the steaks but they have something for everyone. It is located in the centre of everything. It is totally safe. The bus service and taxis are both fantastic and cheap. If you want posh go elsewhere if you want to be in the centre of everything meet friendly helpful people and want safety for younger kids and teenagers this is the place for you. Totally recommend the Green Park.

A Disaster! - Jimmy and Brendan.. Date of travel: Jun 2007
The holiday from hell! Absolute disaster. Stayed there June 2007.
Nothing but sleepless nights. Rows, fights, shouting, and doors banging every night. Came home exhausted from listening to all this.
Management seem to have a very tolerant attitude to all this mayhem.
Police never seemed to be called no matter how bad it got.
First Choice rep, Kate, was as helpful as she could be.
We were moved to a higher floor but, because of the awful design of the place, noise seemed to travel and echo.
Would advise anyone to think very carefully before booking this place.
Most certainly not suitable for families with small children.
As for us, never again!

I agree mostly with Adam - Lisa. Date of travel: Jul 2006
The housekeepers at Green Park were very friendly and the apartments were clean enough, although that blonde receptionist has a real attitude problem, she wasn't very acccomodating to me or any of my 9 friends. The older male receptionist came into my friends apartment and tried to lift her purse so i would advise you not to stay here just for the sake of the great location. Its mostly Irish people who stay here which is great. The food in the restaurant downstairs which is open 24/7 isn't the best, but the supermarket is very cheap for alcohol. I definately wouldnt stay here again!

An excellant place!! - Ann Mc Daid, Sara Doherety. Date of travel: Jun 2006
We stayed in the Green Park apartments June 06, 8 girls. Found apartments very small... nice balcony and tidy clean apartment, good place for young people who only want a place to get ready and a bed at night, would definately not reccomend for families or older people looking for a peacful holiday. The bar is open 24/7 which was great and swimming pools good and clean, all in all would def go back to Gran Canaria..its a great place to go.

Small, clean, but falling apart! - Adam Fields. Date of travel: Feb 2006
Green Park was rated as a 2key. This was a self catering apartment. I stayed in this apartment block for the last week of Jan to the 1st week of Feb 2006.
The kitchen had minimum facillities ie. no kettle, miniature cups. Two cooking rings one of which did get hot. The fridge appeared to have lost it's top cover revealling dark brown insulation.
The bathroom does have a bath but the hot water would only fill about 1/10 of the bath before running out. A small thin bath towel was provided per person.
The bedroom contained two single beds. The sofa in the living/kitchen room was counted as a third bed. The bed rooms in the apartment block faced towards the inner corrodoors which meant that all shouting could be heard until it turned into a whimper by about 3am.
I had to be careful when pulling out any mains plugs from the sockets as the sockets would pull away from the wall with the plug.
I understand the my apartment was no exception as two Irish ladies asked me to help them use the internet in the foyer as they were desperately looking for alternative accomodation. They had spoken to others renting the Green Park apartments all of which seemed to have noted the same problems (except for the fridge)
On the whole the apartment was small, clean, falling apart!
On the positive side the staff were pleasant and the apartment was cleaned just about every day.

Philippa Montgomery. Date of travel: Aug 2005
A group of three 18 year old girls, stayed in the Green Park Apartments. The apartments are quite small at first but you get used to them. We found out you can fit at least 10 people in the kitchen and balcony. The pool is great, loads of sunbeds and its joined to the Green Garden apartments so you can usually use their pool as well. It's in a great location, straight across the road from the Irish centre and right next door to a really good night club. Ideal for a lively holiday. Probably not the best for families although we did see a few families. The reception area never sleeps and the bar/restaurant is open 24/7. Mostly Irish people in these apartments and everyone is very friendly. The house keepers are great too. They'll come in in the morning and u can keep sleeping and they'll just tidy up round you. I had a great holiday here and would recommend these apartments to any group of young people heading on a mad holiday. Tour Operator: Budget travel
