Stayed in the Lara Apartments in May 2007, were told that there was only 2 keys for our room so we had a key each in case one wanted to stay out later. Anyway you can imagine our suprise one afternoon as we were having siesta, heard key go in door and man walked in and stole my wallet of the table as he thought the room was empty as we were sleeping. Chased him but he was away. Went to report it to reception and they said impossible for someone to open your door as there is only 2 keys and you have signed for them. Manager did everything to put us off phoning police and even got angry with us as we insisted it was defo an inside job as we told other holiday makers what had happened and they heard the same thing had happened in other rooms on complex. Please give this place a wide berth unless you want a good claim on your insurance cause you will need it if you stay here. We even told manager you have signs up everywere saying 24hour CCTV. His answer was they don't turn them on in the daytime. What a load of rubbish. He meant he doesn't turn them on when his mate's robbing the place in the daytime.
