After travelling all night due to badly booked flights, arriving at the Ibiza Mar hotel was a really good feeling. I went in a group of 7 girls, and we all checked in at reception then bundled straight to our rooms for some sleep before we started exploring what the island had to offer; the rooms were really clean, the bathrooms were pretty big with a nice shower in the bath. there is a good sized lounge area with a TV with sky, and double doors going on to the balcony, and a small kitchen area. The balconies were great, I think we met more people whilst sitting outside than we did anywhere else. People were just chatting across them and chilling out, before you all go out and get steamin'. If you can though, try your best to get a poolside balcony cause the other side isn't really a nice view, and the cleaners bang on a big metal door outside every morning at about 5ish. This aparthotel is DEFINITELY not for families who are looking for a quiet holiday, but it is amazing atmosphere if you're there to party....because everyone is there to party. It's close to loads of really nice restaurants...if you are going 'Es Puerto's' is gorgeous in the evenings. all the clubs and bars are about a 10 minute walk along the beach promenade and bus stops for town centre. All in all the hotel was a once in a lifetime experience of a non-stop party, and I will definitely be going back next year.

The Ibiza Mar apartments are in bay area of San Antonio - the bay is very long but these apartments are situated closer to the main part of San Antonio. This doesn't present any problems because it is still very quiet and peaceful around the apartments. There are good shops and bars/restaurants close by. Fantastic perfume shop and the usual 'La sirena' Ibiza gift shops. When you cross over the road opposite there is a very pleasant walk around the harbour into San An. Madness, I know, but I decided to go for a run along the walkway one morning right to the end of the harbour. You get nods of respect from fellow joggers mainly because it's baking hot! The apartment itself was fine for our needs (2 adults) - loads of wardrobe space, TV, balcony, comfy beds. We rented a kettle and toaster for the 2 weeks and always go and buy 2 decent sized mugs for a decent cup of tea! There were quite a few groups of 'lads on tour' in the apartments but on the whole it was reasonably quiet - can never quite understand why people play music on their balconies! Also, popular with Spanish. Pool was OK - didn't spend any time there. We try and find new places and beaches. Cala d'Hort is lovely and Sold'en Serra is the perfect place to recover from a night at Amnesia. To conclude, that was my 5th time in Ibiza and the Ibiza Mar was the best place I've stayed. Happy holidays! Photo is sunset at Kasbah. Tour Operator: My Travel

ibiza-clubbers paradise!!!the west end was rough but the town was full of fantastic restaurants. most of the best clubs are outside of san antonio and can be quite costly in a taxi. bora bora beach is a must but definately not for kids. we stayed in the bay away from the town as we wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle, however it was only a 15 min walk to the town. i would recommend getting your tickets off the web to the major clubs before you go cause you can get ripped off!!!
