Sun Park Apartments, Playa Blanca
The Sun Park Apartments are located just 900m from the centre of the lovely Playa Blanca resort and 650m from the nearest beach. Ample shops, restaurants and cafes are nearby, and guests will not look hard to find relaxation and entertainment. The hotel offers a great swimming pool, a relaxing sun terrace and a laundrymore

Clean, basic apartments
We have just spent a week at the Sun Park Apartments in room 503. The room itself was good, clean and basic, for what we paid it was what I expected. The maid was really good and came round 6 out of 7 days with clean towels and asked if you wanted your room cleaned. The room 503 is on the bottom floor overlooking the pool, which we found great. The complex itself is run down and needs updating. It is full of German people and we found this a bit too much, as all the kids clubs are German based. We always ate out and never ate on the complex, but I didn't hear any bad reports. There is a snack bar that opens at 11.00am to 6.00pm serving light snacks like chips, pizza, hot dogs, we found that the kids loved them. On the whole you pay what for you get so if you are ok with basic rooms then this is the place to go. The walls in the apartments are paper thin and you can hear everything.

The Sun park met our requirements - cheap, clean and seperate bedroom from living area. If you're looking for a touch of class - perhaps try else where !!! Positives were the spacious balcony, powerful shower, little bath for our 3yr old and frequent maid service (6 days out of 7). We had no complaints or problems but if being picky the negatives were the restaurant (only had breakfast), entertainment (night entertainment particualry tacky and cringe worthy) plus it was all aimed at German guests as the entertainment company are German. Sun Park look really nice in pictures but in reality not very attractive, staff not particuarly friendly and rubbish bar with really horrible sangria!!! However we came to enjoy the resort and only wanted somewhere to sleep!!!

Sun Park sounds like a typical English resort doesn't it? But no, I think that there was only 4 English families there. It's good value and has a nice pool but also comes with the creepy pool cleaner who sweeps the leaves up while staring at you sunbathing (bit off-putting). The rest of the resort was full with Germans and all the entertainment and kids club spoke German... would not advise the typical English family to go here.

Well I was in Playa Blanca staying in Sun Park. I loved the staff,sure made us feel welcome. I would go back. Only the bad thing about it is that all the people in it are German. You kinda feel discrimated against! Apart from that AMAZING!!!

I read some awful reviews on the Sun Park Apartments before leaving, so was nervous on arrival. I thought the place was absolutely fine bearing in mind it's a budget hotel. The apartments were clean and the grounds were lovely - full of trees and flowers. There was a nice pool and we never struggled to get a sunbed. The Apartamentos Sun Park were a 10 minute walk along the promenade into Playa Blanca. The apartment was much larger than expected with a lounge, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The cleaner was charming and cleaned every day. My only complaint is that the walls are paper thin - so if you have loud neighbours, it can get irritating. And the beds were not that comfortable, but they were clean! I would happily go back to the Sun Park Apartments - they are well located and the price is good. The resort of Playa Blanca is wonderful also. I suggest you eat in the restaurant called Tipico Canario on the sea front next to the Chinese as it was excellent and the steak was superb!

The Sun Park Apartments suited us as there were a good size and clean. Also only a short stroll to the beach and resort centre. Apart from an excellent swimming pool on site facilities are limited and the bar is awful. Tour Operator: Airtours

The Sun Park Apartments are in a good position only 5 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes to the town centre. There is a nice pool here and the apartments are a fair size. However some of fixtures and fittings are worn and need replacing. Overall best described as adequate. Tour Operator: Airtours
