Recently stayed at the Beatriz Playa and was more than delighted with the food and accomodation. Great for a relaxing break for both families and couples. One of the nicest qualities of this hotel is that it has standards of behaviour both in the dining areas and around the pools outside (one of which is heated). Good quality and selection of buffet food, something for everyone with a different theme each day. Live entertainment for both children and adults during the day and evening. Would highly recommend staying there. Matagorda Beach is literally outside the hotel and very peaceful. Taxis are very cheap and take 10 minutes to the old port of Porto del Carmen.
