Just back from Eileen's Lanza Hen @ Club Atlantico, Puerto Del Carmen. Firstly a big thank you to Wendy for helping with all the initial organising. As a regular at Club Atlantico, the new pool and bar area is looking fab and provided us with hours of fun and entertainment. Happy hour at the bar every day from 4-6 - great value for money and not to be missed.

An extra special thank you to Raymond, the bar manager who went the extra mile to ensure a fantastic weekend from creating bespoke cocktails, rearranging the bar layout to accommodate our party, arranging a last minute karaoke for our final night and getting up early for our final breakfast - amazing bacon rolls!! Raymond was the 19th hen - loved by all - Rosemary's adopted son!!!

BBQ party night on a Friday - thoroughly recommended - Lorraine was fab - entertained us all night and provided a right good "hooley". A great night was had by all. Lorraine didn't even take a break and kept "Eileen's Angels" dancing all night.

Also want to give a mention of thanks to new girl Gemma - always smilling and ready to meet our demands. Full of info and a big part of ensuring a great Saturday night down in central.

Best hen weekend ever, excellent apartments, excellent staff, first class service from start to end - will definitely be back!!!!

Well well well, what a a difference a revamp can make! The new Club Atlantico is streets ahead of the old Tamia. Same small friendly relaxed complex but with all the modern touches that were much needed. Nice comfortable accommodation which I hear is being revamped as well, great location close to shops and beach, good value food in a really modern new cafe/bar, fabulous entertainment, especially on BBQ night and lovely new young staff makes this feel like a much more hip place to be nowadays. Whole team from cleaners to reception to maintenance very friendly old and new faces alike but a special thanks must go to to the person we saw most of being a family who like a good time! the new bar manager a lovely genuine (dare i say good looking at my age!) Scot's lad, for making us so welcome every day and seeing to our every need, the new owners have head hunted well I have to say for the new image, I think this resort means business and wish them every success.

Had a wonderful break here as it was lovely and quiet with it only 3mins to the beach and main strip. The complex was clean and tidy and pool was clean. The apt I had was lovely and clean and had a TV with English and Irish channels and there was a kettle and toaster. I'll stay here again. The pool-bar is great. Brian

We have just returned from the Tamia Apartments, they were very very good, apartments were of a good size and very clean and tidy. The apartments provided: electic kettle, toaster and microwave, which was excellent, as many places charge you for the hire of all these things. An excellent sized pool area, it was brilliant with plenty of sunbeds, it was very well maintained, and it was great that there was no reserving of beds with the towels, there was no need to have to do this. The reception staff were very helpful and obliging. It is in a perfect location as others have said, so close to the main prom!! All in all, an excellent place to stay.

I have been holidaying at the Tamia Apartments/Club Atlantico for 6 years and have always thoroughly enjoyed each holiday. Great complex, superb staff and fantastic value for money. Only complaint would be the moaners who want to come on holiday and go to bed at 9pm, then expect everyone else to tip-toe around the complex. Get a life!

I have been going to what was the Tamia since i was 11 yrs old (now 28) and it feels like my second home. I am just back from a week in the sun, which was my pre wedding party, and with 23 women on board the staff had their work cut out! It has now been taken over, now called Club Atlantico, and there is a refurbishment going on, which is great to see! The staff were finishing off the newly built pool bar when we arrived and told us they would have it ready and open for us the following day. They worked wonders and the bar was open as promised and is amazing! Thanks to Johnny, Recardo, Wendy and the team! The staff went all out to ensure me and my girls had a fabulous time and put on excellent entertainment and food! Thanks guys! Huge thanks to WANDA!! What a girl and she gave me a night to remember! Fabulous entertainer and loads of fun, again organised by complex. To Wendy, our main organiser who has worked there as long as i have been going, thank you for your patience with the Volcanic Ash disaster, we got there in the end! Thank you for organising the steak pie night and Sunday roast dinner as well as making our stay one of the best! It was fab and everyone loved it! These apartments offer great value for money, great service, great location, friendly staff, it's great for young couples, older couples, girls wanting to chill and for taking a young family. Already booked up for next summer with the family and may go end of year! I can't get enough! and can't wait to see it fully finished.

Stayed here for a week in the middle of April with my best friend. Don't really have any complaints! Apartment was very clean and comfortable. Didn't see a single ant or any other bug around the apartment the entire time we were there which is great! I didn't use the snack bar by the pool, but the prices looked reasonable and it did get quite busy considering the complex wasn't particularly busy. They do do happy hours too! The pool was nice and clean and a great size! The location is great, just a 3 minute to the main strip with all the shops and bars. I'll stay here again.

Stayed at the Tamia Apartments Jan 10th 2010. Grubby, dirty and in need of a good clean as said by previous person. Hope he didnt stay, we stayed 1 night and asked to be moved the next day. No way were we going to stay here for 2 weeks. There was building work going on and we were not informed of this, we were later told that it's gettin refurbished so we got moved the next day to Las Palmeras 11.

Tamia Apartments have over the years deteriorated very quickly. Jacuzzi hasn't worked properly for years & is now full of bricks, ladders to pool rusting & falling off, sun beds are filthy, pool is in need of a good clean. Rooms are in need of updating. As for child friendly, Alan the manager takes great pleasure in keeping as many people up getting dunk until early morning. Many visitors of Tamia Apartments have been persuaded to part with money for shares

Tamia Apartments are drastically in need of an overdue update, apart from being dirty, the whole complex is tired. The jacuzzi hasn't worked for years and is now full of bricks, the pool ladder is broken and rusting, cleaning around the pool seems to have been forgotten, sun beds filthy, pool filthy, child friendly i think not! Ok if you want to listen to everybody getting drunk until early morning. Manager takes great pleasure in relieving you of your money for timeshare.

A friend told us about Tamia Apartments way back then, she said it was friendly, great location, and very comfortable it had everything including a peaceful nights sleep! So we decided to try it and we were more than impressed, so much so we brought all our families out with us on the next trip, and they loved it also. Over the years we had children and what a safe place it is for children, in fact everything there is child friendly, and our kids have called it their second home. Its location is perfect to shops, beach, airport you name so the chances of you getting bored are slim. I would recommend it as I have over the years. And Alan the boss is a sound chap.

The accommodation at Tamia is excellent and the proprietor (Alan) and his staff are so helpful and friendly. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The bar is cosy and child-friendly and has some great entertainment evenings. BBQ night on Fridays is superb value for money and the quiz afterwards is always a laugh. I never thought I would return to a holiday destination more then once but I have been to Apartments Tamia five times now and will be heading there again in Sep and Nov. It's like a home...away from home.

Tamia Apartments - probably the dirtiest complex we have ever stayed at. No Sky TV, the pool was filthy, sunbeds the same, the jacuzzi wasn't working, the landlord thought it was funny to drink everybody's leftovers...
