All I can say is we had a fab holiday but would never return to the Club Bellevue Apartments or the resort and can not recommend it. We basically put up with the resort while we were there and tried not to dwell on it too much to ruin our holiday which we had much looked forward to. The cleaner only came once during our stay and basically just made our bed with the same bed sheets! The room was full of dust and the bathroom didn't bear thinking about. I took my own Domestos wipes which I was glad of! I am still itching like mad after having approx 20 bites. I can't say the lake smelt but it wasn't pretty and most definitely would not recommend going anywhere near it. Our sink was blocked and we reported it 4 times to reception, it was only resolved after reporting the fault to a senior rep which we bumped in to by chance. Our fridge didn't work either but this never got fixed. I wasn't sorry to leave there and would never go back.

Despite all comments on hotel decided to book anyway. Club Bellevue is a bit like butlins abroad. So much to do. Booking to go back to hotel Bellevue. Shame water park was closed in early October approx 1km away. Beach lovley approx 800 meters away. Helpful and friendly good English speaking staff. Lots of shops. Great entertainment. Kids Club good from 4 years. Food about 4/5. Ate out twice in 9 days for change. Fishing on complex in canal/river. Plenty of activities. Internet access in every block. All inclusive drinks lots to choose from. Would rate 8-9 out of 10 overall.

Just got back from the Club Bellevue in Marmaris and all the bad reports I read were true although we enjoyed our holiday because we spent most of it outside the Bellevue even though we were all inclusive. I am not a moaner but I found the Club Bellevue to be more like blocks of council flats where you just do as you like, there is no security or staff at any of the apartment blocks, next door to us were a bunch of young irish lads who were singing, screaming and banging all night, even peeing from the balcony, reported them 3 times but nothing was done. The first day there we thought the food was ok but the next few days realised we were just getting warmed up slop we had "veal" or pork to choose from every day and we were a bit concerned as to the hygene of the staff and kitchens so we decided to eat out the rest of the week. The Club Bellevue really is not very nice and the brochures are very misleading but it was cheap and you get what u pay for and we made the most of it and enjoyed ourselves.

My family and I went to Club Bellevue Apartments for two weeks. It took approx 45 minutes to Bellevue from Palma airport , arrived outside reception, collected your key, then made your way to your apartments. Very confusing as to where you had to go as there was 17 blocks all together in the complex. It took approx 10- 15 minutes to walk to where we were. We lived in fedra 3 originally but the mosquitoes were terrible and had an ant invasion so we asked if we could move. They moved us to fedra 1 which was much better, cleaner came every 2nd day. Accommodation was basic but was really nice I thought. Things around the complex was very good. You had daisy bikes for families to go round on and sightsee. Little mopeds, they were brilliant! Swimming pools, bars etc. The shops were five minutes outside the complex there was newsagents and telephone boxes but were far too expensive. €5 would be worth 10 minutes inside the complex for €5 outside the complex about half an hour!! And the newsagents was €3.80 for a 1 litre bottle of water and the supermarket outside the shop would be €3 for 3 litres of water! The restaurant took about 15 minutes to reach from our apartments as did the show garden. The food was a bit repetitive, we were eating pasta and chips every night as those were the only decent things. Not much variety. And far too much seafood! We met lovely people the two weeks we were there, all people and staff friendly. Reps were excellent!! You got to know them more and more and became really close to them and has helped inprove our Spanish which is something. Lots of things on at entertainment, Kids club/mini disco 8.00-9.00, group tributes, Westlife, Michael Jackson tribute, Madonna, Disney, ABBA, Elvis, Queen tribute, many more but was excellent. The entertainment would finish baout 12.30am then you would make your way up to a karaoke bar until 3.30 am. Was great! I highly recommend the Pizzeria, lots of lovely waiters happy to offer you things to do round the complex. And excellent pizzas!! Overall we had a really good holiday and would go back!!

The sign at the entrance should read Hotel Hellvue not Bellevue, we had originally booked for 4 people we got a room for three, the double bed is two single beds put together there was one single bed and a sofa where my 8-year-old son was sleeping. We were sharing the room with all the mosquitoes in Mallorca as well as other flying insects, we were infested with ants in the bathroom, the TV did not work, the phone to ring reception did not work there was one washing machine in our block that was working but there was people from other blocks using the machine because they never had washing machines in all their blocks. The smell from the so-called beautiful boating lake was incredible. It smelt like a swamp. We never saw any shows in the show garden as when we tried we were eaten alive by the mosquitoes. We got talking to an American lady at the pool and she said she had a rat in her apartment. We saw rats by the boat that takes you to the beach which is near to the restaurant. You have been warned. Holiday from hell!

Stayed at Bellevue for 10 days and it's fair to say wasn't overjoyed with the place. Should have had a 5 bed apartment and on the 7th day was still waiting for our put me up bed to be brought. Mozzies are an absolute nightmare, you get eaten alive. No air con which again is unbearable but you can't have your doors open because of the mozzies. 90% of the staff were just rude, didn't smile or even attempt to. Visited reception on a few occasions, tried to find out what days the markets were on and what buses we could catch, they said they didnt know?? Some of the evening entertainment was just dire, Robbie Williams - more like Robin Williams, and the Madonna tribute, during one of the songs the girl is writhing on a bed in a thong with blokes touching her up quite full on, I'm no prude but we came away, didn't really want a six year old watching that. Food was good if a bit repetitive. When you come out of the all inclusive restaurant have a look round the walls, it's alive with rats. Don't book excursions for Hidropark what a rip off! €34 for adults, €22 for kids under 11. It's literally a 15 minute walk from Bellevue and is €17 for adults and €8 for the kids, but you can barter if you've got kids with you. He let my 12 and 14 year old in as under 11's. There is also a big problem with ants at Bellevue. Don't go anywhere without anything on your feet. All in all doesn't sound like a very good review but I can only speak from experience and unfortunately we didn't have a very good one here, we were counting down the days to come home.

Tthe Bellevue was a holiday from hell. The food was awful, the bacon, sausages, eggs was very greasy. There was not muh choice. There wasn;t any air conditioning. We had to pay €36 to hire a fan for the 2 weeks we were there. The maid only turned up when she thought she would and we had to ask staff for clean towels and toilet paper. We was bitten like hell by mosqitoes. Had to go on a root march at meal times whch was a walk across the lake which smelt. And on many occasions we ate out as the food was so bad. We was glad to get home. Never again will we visit the Bellevue. The entertainment was just awful. Just singing every night. No variety.

Having just arrived home from Bellevue I can honestly say I'm glad to be home! On arrival, at what can only be described as butlins with pools, and sunshine, we were dumped at reception and told by the staff, "You are now here" pointing to a map, "you need to be there!!". No help given whatsoever, we had to pull our own cases and ask other guests directions to our accommodation. Reps were nowhere to be seen for the whole fortnight, welcome meeting non-existant. Sun loungers unobtainable due to towels being put on the night before. On the day of departure, once again had to pull own cases, from one side of the complex to the main reception which was at the other end. Herded onto a bus and left at the airport, I would never come back to Bellevue if I was paid a million pounds!!

Well what to say and where to start. We stayed from 28/08/07-11/09/07 in Fedra 1. What a dump. We spent the entire holiday sleeping with mosquitoes, fleas and spiders, the rats didn't sleep with us, they were at the back of the block. After the first night my daughter had over 50 bites, so badly infected we had to carry her to the doctors who said they were the worst that she had seen, we then had to go back every other day for steroid injections for her(shes 23 years old). I know there are mosquitoes abroad but due to the stagnant surrounding water they were rife and the stench was unbearable. Then the rest of us continued to get bitten, we thought that these were mozzie bites, some were but the rest were from fleas. The towels were changed twice in the fortninght and the sheets once. We asked for the room to be fumigated as other guests were doing so and we were given a can of Raid spray... what a joke. The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. The tour reps (Aspro) were non exsistent until the last day. The noise on a night was bad too it went on til 4am or 5am nightly, security tried to stop it but couldn't. They then enlisted the police who calmed things down but when they'd gone it started again. We have been home for a week now and all of our bites are still infected and extremely itchy. We did take plug in antihistamine tablets and creams we bought 7 cans of citronella spray and four candles, nothing could stop the mozzies. They breed on the stagnant lake and unless the council clean it this will continue to be a problem. The daily lawn cutting and shaking of the palm trees doesnt help. Playing a game of crazy golf became unbearable after 3 holes as were eaten alive, all you could see were people swing there clubs about trying to swat them away. I have read other reviews and it looks like if you stayed in the all inclusive blocks you were better looked after. Fedra 1 is the furthest away with Fedra 2 and 3, and must be the last place where the cleaners go if they have got time. Don't take your kids here and put them through this torture or risk of being bitten, the girl in the next room was 4 years old and you couldn't see her face for the bites, she was in agony. The apartments themselves do look as they do in the brochure extremely pretty and the complex is very good on the eye, but the cleanliness is dire and needs to be addressed... give it a miss...

I thought the Bellevue had something for everyone. We stayed in leda 2 on an all inclusive holiday, there were 5 adults and 3 children aged between 4 and 8. The food was ok for a 3 star. Only ate out once during our 10 days there. Anyone who likes fishing, the lake and canals provide ample fishing. All sea fish bred being one of the best baits. Entertainment was ok, the only let down at the evening shows was lack of toilet facilities. Would go back, we all had a good time, good value for money.

We have all just returned from our holiday at the Bellevue and after reading some of the other reviews I was a bit worried. We had a fantastic time and the kids (10 and 6) loved every minute of it. When we arrived in the early hours after checking in, a car came to the reception to take us to our hotel on the complex. Even though the complex was very large, everything was close at hand. The entertainment on at night was brilliant and the kids couldn't wait to get to the show bar every night. There was Abba tributes, Westlife tributes, Grease, Rod Stewart tributes, Mickey Mouse shows and lots more. There was bingo every night for the adults. Shops were close at hand as we found drinks round the pool a bit pricey. If we go there again we would probably go all inclusive but the only downside is that not all the pools on the complex have all inclusive bars on them during the day so you would have to walk to another pool if you want drinks. We recommend this complex to people of all ages with or without kids.

Alcudia, Bellevue - Forecast. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Alcudia is a lovely area, mountainous region, Moorish buildings, good roads driving, port is beautiful, good market, Bellevue huge complex sited on huge lake. It has a boat to beach, €10 return. The lake is full of fish, all visitors do good fishing. Be warned, mossies by the score and bites aplenty, access apartments 6 steps with ramp for prams or wheelchairs, so many blocks, flats on this complex. Looks like a council estate set in gardens with numourous pools dotted around. These are set on steep grassy areas on slopes. Access by steps, 8 on some, not good for walking difficulties. Also could do with the steps down into pool being maintained as broken top step wobbly and unsafe. Also handlebars down to hold came out of there stabled ground hold. Not good to access pool. For apartments Seinna ii allocated pool, this was not good as also nothing to hold onto set around the sides.
Inside pool approx 6ft deep around. Not any real shallow part. The apartment had balcony, table, 2 chairs, inside it had 2 beds open-plan, lounge part and behind louvre doors a basic kitchenette, adaquate for catering to needs. TV 2 channels, news. If you want anymore go buy voucher. Couldn't get phone working to contact reception, no air conditioning. Go hire a fan at reception. All inclusive restaurants set across lake. Access 6 steps up bridge 6 down other side or else more walking. To go walk all round this attraction. The reception set by main gate, a hut type building, offers no help to get luggage across this huge complex and to have to walk over to this building. If got walking/ breathing difficulties it is a nightmare. Lengthy walk as is to get the in between meal snacks all inclusive as this is set over by building at that side and not near pool that was allocated to apartment nor the buildings near restaurant. None of this was managed nor tried due to the inconvenient way set out for anyone other then the fittest abled bodied guests. Also cafeteria Bellevue is set by all incl. restaurant and open throughout day and evening. Coffee, food, drinks. I made the effort to get to this to sit outside and was then charged for drinks order. I was never told this was not all incl. This was not the snack bars. By all appearances, one would believe it was, as other holidays I've had sure did have this sort of thing available. Not so here. Noted other guests made this mistake also. We then found Mrocco Bar for all incl, non-alcoholic drink but no AI food snack served here, not ever? As at the allocated pool drink only kiosk. Some AI guests (able bodied) could not seem to find where these were, and some guests rather upset by the fact that they were not so reachable. Excellent points to this complex: the locality, great strip, shops, hotels outside complex, as is good service, bus stop, pharmacy, supermarkets, giftsbars restaurants, etc. On site is medical centre 24hours and local hospital less than 5mins from site.

Just got back from the Bellevue.
We stayed at Minerva 1 although we stayed all inclusive we were unable to use this bar and so it we had to walk to Sirena 1 to use this one. This was our only gripe. Spacious apartment with balcony overlooking the pool.
Great activities during the days, with brilliant entertainment staff especially Rickki and Tatti and Helena.
Very clean everywhere, great choice of food at meal times, good quality entertainment at night with the host Jesus.
Yes you have to rise early to bag a sunbed but thats all in the game of life! I would highly recommend this venue for a fun family holiday.

Have just got home after staying in Bellevue for a week and would definitely go back. Stayed in leda 2 which is the best situated block. We were all inclusive, the food was great, there was something for everyone, even my fussy eating daughter -my son will eat anything. Room was OK, basic but clean, but you only sleep there. The entertainment was great. The kids loved the mini disco every night. There is also a small fair on the comlpex. The pools are well looked after as are the grounds. Locally there are shops galore right outside the main entrance. The beach is about a 10 min walk away, or a short boat ride accross the lake inside the complex. There's so much for the kids to do. Lots of the pubs outside have play areas so you can sit and just watch them have fun. The weather was great, the food was great, Bellevue was great and we will certainly return to this resort in the future! The only downside is there is no aircon in the rooms but you can hire fans if you want to.

I am a 70 year old Grandma and went last week to Bellevue with my daughter, son-in-law and grand-daughter. I've read all the reviews and am wondering what the negative ones are moaning about. I absolutely loved it. The apartment was large and spotlessly clean. We went all inclusive and the food was absolutely wonderful. The place was clean and although I had a couple of mosquito bites, they didn't trouble me too much and were only what could be expected from a holiday abroad. As I say, I'm 70 but although I use a stick to walk with, I didn't find it too far to walk, and it was a pleasant walk anyway. As for noise at night, well, what does one expect from a family resort? It didn't trouble me and I slept like an oak log every night! I didn't bother with any of the entertainment, as I was ready to retire to my bed at 9-30, so cannot comment. But I must say that the place was spotless and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go again.

The brochure description of the Bellevue is misleading, we were under the impression you could use any of the bars, restaurants or facilities as an all inclusive guest. We were wrong. Mini golf, tennis, bikes, go-karts, pool tables, rides, all the things that kids like and even a decent cup of coffee. Pay, pay, pay. All of the kids clubs and activities are situated away from the three all inclusive bars that you can use. So if you want to put your kids in one of the three kids clubs and stay close (present climate for leaving children doubtful) then you have got to pay. The evening entertainment was excellent with professional tribute bands most nights, and well above the standard of most all inclusives we have been to. But, and this is a big but, the all inclusive bar with its 2/3 bar staff who were working at the pace of sloth on valium, where it could take anything up to 45 minutes to get a round of drinks. Guess the Bellevue has a really tough sensible drinking regime. But the pay bar not 30m away, with its 4 staff on and 3 waiters was maxing out at about 45 seconds. OK for the rich and famous. The restaurant and food was acceptable to good and the sweets were to die for (came home an overweight unhealthy teetotaler). Everything else is liveable with but the dreaded mosquitoes are not, and the biggest reason we will never go back. I am writing this with about 47 bites and looking like an arctic commando covered in calamine lotion. I have travelled in India on a motorcycle, walked in the jungle in Kenya, and travelled through Thailand. Give me the female Anopheles and the Tsetsy Fly anyday and keep the Bellevue.

We are on our last day at Bellevue and have enjoyed every day. Apartments were very large and comfortable (have to admit air conditioning would have been a bonus). We were in Fedra II which is a bit of a walk from main reception and one hell of a walk when dragging luggage. Place is very family friendly and quiet at night. Only down side to the holiday was the mosquitoes which plagued us for two solid weeks. Would recommend to any friends with young children or older couples just looking to enjoy some together time - just make sure to bring something to keep the mosquitoes at bay!

Just returned after 10 days staying at the Bellevue complex. After reading some reviews before going I had my concerns and wished I never booked it, however after being there I can now say I loved it. There are a few downsides but hey, there is with everything but there are certainly good things too.
When we got there, reception gave the key cards and showed us the map on how to get to our room, yes you have to carry your own bags and cases around the complex trying to find your room. Luckily Sirena 2 wasn't too far, that is where we were staying. Some places were a good half hour walk away. I would recommend the Sirena building as is quite central, you only have to cross the bridge and you're at the main area of restaurants and shows garden, etc. It was a nice room. No AC, however you can hire a fan, we took are own portable fan.
Mosquitoes are an issue there, I only got bitten 4 times however my friends got tripple that. I found that Cintronella oil helped just a dab of it on the wrists and ankles. Food wasnt great same things each night, breakfast was the best I would say. I wasn't at all happy that we could only use the main restaurant and everywhere else was to pay. The complex has got different places to eat and bars but all inclusive people have to pay there. Entertainment was brilliant, really enjoyed it, it does get a bit breezy in the evening so take a cardigan or jacket with ya. There are 2 all inclusive bars in the show garden and 1 paying bar. Make sure you try the San Fransico cocktail, it's really tasty. Toilets are just outside the show garden behind the barbecue, however most nights the lights wern't working so you sit on there in the dark LOL. Pools at complex are nice, however getting sunbeds can be a problem at certain pools, can't reserve beds as your towels get thrown off by security. All bars are only at certain pools so you are restricted to pools however we just filled up bottles of drink at breakfast and put it in the cooler bag. The Beach was lovely, white sand and lovely water, it's about 15 to 20 mins walk from complex or you can get a boat ride on complex to beach it's €2 single and €3 return. Last boat back is a 5pm. At the beach you have to pay for sunbeds it's €3 per bed.
As for trips book through No Frills, they are lovely and cheap, there is a girl on the complex you can book through. We did the caves of Drach which I do recommend! It's a trip worth seeing and we did Marineland which isn't worth it, it's the smallest marineland I've ever seen. Any questions please email me to ask as I'm sure I can answer them. The Bellevue was more like a village then a hotel. The staff were on the whole very friendly and made a real effort to keep you entertained. However, it is very hard to catch the attention of the reception staff who do not seem to want to help at all.
I would recommend this resort to families with children but not for a couple of friends just looking to relax. On the one day of sun we had, whilst relaxing by the pool the entertainer took it upon himself to start shouting at me with a mega phone to try and get me to play archery. I was not too impressed as he kept this up all day! Apart from that the apartments were clean and impersonal.

Just got back from a week in Alculdia. Stopped at the Minerva I apartments in Bellevue, which was good. Arrived late on the first night and was allocated a studio apartment (although I had paid for a 1-bedroom) had to change rooms the next morning but asked for the Minerva I as the Minerva II is ok unless you're situated street side (very noisy at night). Our room on the 3rd floor overlooked the pool which wasn't noisy at all. The rooms were clean and all kitchen equipment is provided (Microwave, toaster, kettle).
In terms of eating out, I'd heard that Yummy Yummy was a good place to eat.... DON'T BOTHER!! The staff were rude, the food in small portions and not very good. If you like Chinese food try Chino restaurant. It's just over the bridge and down one of the side streets, excellent value for a 3 course meal for €6. Don't bother hiring a bed on the beach as no-one ever checks anyway - save yourself €3!
Walked to Pollensa but beware if you want to bus back, all the buses are No. 2 and they go everywhere. I walked it back in the end - took about 1 hour.
Overall I would go back to the Bellevue again - the Show Gardens do great free entertainment. Catch Rod Stewart, he was very good!

Have just returned today from a week at Bellevue with my husband and 14 year old daughter.
We thought that the facilities were great, we had a lovely room in Ceres 1, facing the pool, which was clean and towels and bedding were changed regularly. There were also plenty of coat hangers, a real bonus as I have been to so many places where there haven't been enough.
We were self catering and ate out most evenings, preferring to eat Spanish rather than English food, but used to go back for an hour to the Red Lion family pub which was near our apartment. The entertainers there were very good and there were games and activities for all ages. You could probably stay on the site all the time if you wanted to because there seemed to be enough to do and places to eat, especially if you have a young family.
We felt that Bellevue was safe enough for our daughter to go off on her own with her new friends, which is why we booked it in the first place. The only drawback was that people reserved sunbeds with their towels and if you didn't get to the beds before 9 am each day you couldn't get one. This is really only a minor thing, with other pools to choose from and if all else fails, a beautiful beach just down the road.
If you like to try the local cuisine we would recommend El Toro and La Traviatore restaurants, both serving excellent food. We also enjoyed the food in a restaurant which is over the bridge on the left but I can't remember the name, it is next door to Lineker's and very popular. There are lots of restaurants to choose from, although you have to look a bit harder for the Spanish ones, at it is a very 'British' resort.
The Supermarket across the road from Bellevue bakes lovely croissants which are great for breakfast if you are self catering.
The weather has been good, but there has been a breeze, which made it cool in the evenings. We have had no problems at all with mosquitos, but did use plenty of repellent just in case and had a plug in in the room.
I would definitely recommend Bellevue as a base for a holiday in Alcudia.

I have just returned from the Bellevue Aparments. I went with 3 of my girlfriends from May 26th to June 3rd '07. We arrived quite late at night and were taken to the main reception by our rep (first choice) we were 4 of about 8 people on our coach getting off at this complex. Our rep got out room blocks and the coach dropped us ouside our block. This was very helpful as it seemed to take us a further 15 mins in the coach (can u imagine walking with your cases at that time of night in the dark) we were given 2 seperate rooms but had asked for 1, so 30 mins later that was sorted out (he did not speak a word of English, not helpful at 3am).
Once we got to the room we had asked for, it was brilliant, we stayed in Mineriva 1. We had expected 1 bedroom and a pull out bed in the living area, however we got 2 win bedrooms. Perfect. the apartment was very clean, no nasty smells, no broken equipment...one of the best I've stayed in. We had a lovely view of the Alcudia strip overlooking the canal.
we went to the Disney show hosted by the reps...don't bother! The kids I teach could do a better job than they did. Considering the entertainment is a on 2 week roll over rotor, they should have been on time with the words and also with the dance moves, it was all very improvised and half of them didn't know what to do when it came to it.
The kids entertainment seemed very good, always something for the kids to do. If you have young children I'd miss the Chigago night, the reps were dressed in bondage gear stradling chairs, not what I'd want my kids to be watching. The reps also didn't seem very into what they were meant to be doing. They just kind of stood, milling around or chatting in the bigtop. I thought the idea if reps was to get people motivated. Obviously not here!
The pool was very clean, a bar by each one selling drinks, food, ice creams. There were kids there but what do you expect from a family complex such as the Bellevue. The kids were no problem. The water was freezing though. Went in twice the whole week. Outside the complex we'd recommend Luna's bar - great food, although quite pricey it is well worth the money. Entertainment all night, we went on a night that there was a Take That tribute, one of the best acts on the island. One of my friends celebrated her 21st birthday there and the restaurants filled her to the brim with free champagne and cocktails. You wouldn't get that in the UK. We also got free shots with almost every meal every night. Bonus!
The beach was quite a walk away but was lovely walking there in the nice hot weather browsing at the shops as you went by. Be careful of the restaurant workers though, very in your face about eating at their restaurant, thrusting leaflets in your face.
Went on a day trip to Marineland and Aqualand (was 2 half day trips rolled into one) I woudn't bother with Marineland, very little to see and do, we arrived there at 10am after an hour coach trip from Alcudia to Magaluf, by 10.45 we had walked round the entire park twice and stopped to take photos so we didn't rush. The only good bit about Marineland was the dolphin and sea lion show...absolutely fantastic. Aqualand, once we got there at about 2pm, was ok, nothing special, just your regualar water park. It was quite breezy on the day we went so we got cold very easily, meaning we weren't very keen to be standing in huge queues for rides which threw us in to really cold water. We were picked up at 4.30, 2 hours was enough there. The coach journey home took us 2 hours, the driver decided he'd take us cross country, even the tour rep from "no frills" had never been that way, very worrying when you don't know where you are and you're miles from anywhere!
The pancake man was absolutely fantastic. Could have watched him all night, I would like some of whatever he takes to give him that much enthusiasm and engergy.
If you have a late night flight home I would recommend booking a late checkout room very early. we weren't being picked up from the hotel until 10.30pm. We had to be out of the room by 12 noon so we had 10 hours where we were pretty much homeless. Then we got to the airport and found out we had a 4 hour delay, was meant to be getting food vouchers...am still waiting.
All in all I would return to the Bellevue Apartments, very clean, helpful staff and a lovely place for all ages. People who have nothing better to do than complain about this place obviously have their sights set too high! Nowhere is perfect and you get what you pay for. Personally I think this complx is underpriced, and people should be paying a hell of a lot more considering what they get! Absolutely amazing!

Would not go back here, was as the title says. Dumped at reception to start with, given a map and told we were in Fedra I, which was a good 15-20 min walk. Rooms fairly basic but ok. We were self catering so hardly stayed on site. Plenty of bars and restaurants to eat at. The further away from Bellevue the better they get. On site entertainment was very poor. Again didn't bother with it. We went to Peach Pit most nights as little ones loved it in there. Beach lovely. All in all a good holiday. Just accommodation was a bit of a let down. Would return to Alcudia but not Hellvue!

I'm a single 22 y/o man, and I travelled alone. I only went from Saturday-Tuesday owing to a gap in my work rota. I went All Inclusive. I booked very last minute for £196.
It's very well located, close to all the local shops (mostly tourist tat) as well as tons of restaurants and bars/clubs. The surrounding scenery is lovely, mountains, palm trees and a lake. The beach is a 5 minute, €3 (return) boat journey across the lake. You could pay that or walk the 15 min up the main street to the beach. The beach itself is miles long, and if you walk a little bit either way you can find a less busy spot where you don't have to pay for the sun loungers under the palm umbrellas. There were boat trips leaving from the busiest section of beach that I visited.
The Bellevue complex is very well equipped; several pools as well as tennis courts, mini golf and go-karts. The go-karts were €20 for 8 minutes. It was rather dear but the track was good and the friendly service was welcome. The mini-golf was a good idea but it's upkeep left a lot to be desired.
There's an abundance of pools in the complex. I picked the one second closest to me for most of my stay, purely for the proximity to my apartment and the All Inclusive bar. There was music played most of the day, but it wasn't too obtrusive, and although busy, not exceptionally noisey. I never went in the water, but it looked clean enough. I took a walk around the complex and the outer buildings are not only far from the facilities but also rather shabby looking too. I'm guessing they were the Self-catering apartments.
I had a twin (though it can sleep 4) apartment that was situated close to the main facilities (restaurants, entertainment, pool with all inclusive bar, souvenir shop, supermarket, boat to the beach etc). The room itself smelt smokey when I arrived, which I really detest. However, it was clean and bright. There was a mini-hob, fridge and several cuboards, not that I needed any of those! The lack of air conditioning disappointed me, and I subsequently slept on the sofa with the patio open to get fresh air. There were no toiletries supplied except cheap soap. The bed was made once between Sunday and Tuesday (not including the check-out clean) and the towels weren't changed (except for on check-out clean). Nothing much on the Telly, unfortunately! One English channel and that was BBC World Service. However, the reflection of the mountains in the mini-lake in front of my block was an obvious photo moment.
I thoroughly enjoyed the buffet meals at Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. The choice of mains was pretty good. There was always several pasta dishes and sauces, as well as potatoes of some variety. Lots of fish on the menu. The paella was good, as were the mussels and the veal. The salad buffet was never a disappointment, and the soup was good. Desserts, were, on the whole, pretty good. It looked like they kept desserts over from day to the next, so I generally opted for the fresh fruit. All-inclusives got the usual range of soft drinks, as well as draught beer and wine. The seating was fairly good. There was lots of it, at least, and the meal times lasted sufficiently long enough to enable you to fit a days activity schedule around them.
In need of a drink on my first proper night I joined the lively outdoor entertainment, with the all inclusive bar. The Westlife tribute were as bad as I expected. I overlook the factor of the myriad little kids running riot because I understand that it's a family resort. On another night, the Abba girls were pretty good, and they successfully got most people involved which added to the enjoyment. After this was over, one could round the night off in the Morrocco bar, with it's relaxed atmosphere, good, modern music and bar til midnight.
I hardly saw a rep at all, and the rep that did the welcome meeting was an almost incomprehensible Scots lad who talked way too fast, so I didn't get all that much info about the resort or the offered tours/activities.
Bellevue (and Alcudia in general) is about as far from Palma airport as you can get, so it took us a good hour and 45 mins to get round all the other hotels, picking other holidaymakers up and then eventually heading to the airport.
I'll discount the irrelevant info of flight delays, but the plane home (provided by Mytravel) was rather cramped. Thankfully I got to choose my window seat and was seated alone. I still don't understand why they serve tea and coffee with a meal!
Overall, it was an enjoyable few days. I'm not promising I'd return because the lack of service with the accommodation really let the experience down bit. It's not all-together suited to a young single man, but I can see the appeal for famillies.

Just got back from Alcudia after spending a week at the Bellevue. Accommodation was basic, no air con, and a very nasty smell meets u as u walk in!!!! Reps!! what reps? Didn't see a single rep for the entire week! The first day introduction I could not understand what on earth was being said, as 1 rep was jordie, and the other was very broad scottish!!
As for the kids club, they dont tell u have to pay for evening sessions at 5 euros a time which I thought was expensive for what was being provided. My 7 year old went to a pizza party and came out hungrier than when he went in!!! Good points as we went towards end of season the pools were empty and fairly clean. Fantastic trips, excelent value for money... go see the Pirates show in magaluff, FAB!!! (NOT the adult version if you have kids), also the catamaran trip was lovely, got to swim in the sea with my son, also free wine, beer, soft drinks and rolls. Finally Western water park also in Magaluff great day out for adults and kids!! Overall reps very poor, kids club poor service, eating onsite best place is the Bellvue resturant. (Avoid the bellevue buffet, very expensive and poor service). Offsite, would definately recommend the Shang Hi garden Chinese, Roma restaurant for Italian, and for a good paella Las Serenas by the port (if you have the energy to walk as its a fair distance). Great paella!!!! Avoid Tivoli terrace as I had food poisoning with the salmon on my first night!!! and also poor service at Bejing ducl chinese.. (be sure to ask b4 ordering as they charge u for food which should be included in the set price). Tour operater was Air tours, reps represented my travel, absolutely useless!!! ( had to ask for check out time on day b4 departure, no rep could tell me, also got no questionnaire)!

Stayed at Bellevue in Leda I with my husband, an 18-month old and my father (the babysitter =) for 8 nights in a two-bedroom apartment in October 2006. We had booked the flights and hotel separately and rented a car as well. This was great for us, because we had been to Mallorca before and wanted to move around freely. Bought the breakfast buffet on site separately. If I remember correctly it costed 5,10 eur/adult/day.
Even though it was almost the end of the season, the daily music by the pool and evening shows were a bit disturbing, when trying to get the baby to sleep. Fortunately he went to bed before 8 pm, and the shows usually started at 9, so it didn't matter that much. Didn't see a single show, but probably heard them all.. not too great.. Maybe some of the other buildings would have been a bit more peaceful? I know it's a big complex and had read some reviews beforehand, so this is just fyi.
Rooms were nice and clean and breakfast buffet ok. Don't really care about the English breakfast, so it got a bit boring after few mornings. Liked the fresh fruits, selection of cereals, toast, pastries and yoghurts.
Location was ok, free parking and the mainstreet nearby. Walk to the beach with strollers took about 10 mins. Grocery store on site (Spar) was hugely overpriced, but since we had the car, we did our daily food shopping at Caprabo or SYP. Good idea to bring your own food (single jar around 2,5 eur) for the little ones if needed! Dodot (?) nappies were similar to Pampers and the price for bigger packages reasonable. Eating out wasn't too expensive, so mostly we had our evening meal in some of the local restaurants.
Bellevue was ok for one stay, but wouldn't go there again... We like the more peaceful locations. =)

Just arrived back today from 2 weeks at the Bellevue, and I am so disappointed, I read all the reviews before I went and I have to say that I agree with the majority. I'll start with the (few) good points, the hotel is very well located, you can walk on to the main street easily, where the shops and restaurants are, and you can walk to the beach (about a 5 minute walk) but there is a boat service on offer that departs from 9.30am then every 15 mins for 6 euros. The maid service was excellent, our linen and towels were changed every 2-3 days, I cannot fault them; there is a decent sized park that my boys loved too. Right, thats it for the good, now for the bad: we went half board (brekkie and evening meal), the breakfasts were decent with a good range, cereals, fruit, croissants, loads of meats and cheeses, and the full english, but the evening meals seemed to be catered more for the germans, not a lot of choice, my poor kids had chips every night! There was only about 3 high chairs for the whole restaurant, so I advise you to get in there first to nab one, it is like a cattle market at meal times, everyone running round trying to get their plateful,t he restaurant is shared with the all inclusive guests. My advice is to sit upstairs, its a lot more relaxed up there. Now on to the so called entertainment, oh my god, what a disgrace! The tribute shows were terrible, I thought the ABBA one was the only really decent one, and the Westlife was ok, I advise you to bypass the Beatles and Elvis!A pint of beer costs 3.10 euros, and a coke is 1.60, vodka etc is around 3.20, then 1.20 for splash coke/lemonade. As with everywhere around the place there are loads of flies and mozzies so take protection! There is a little mini club in the Minerva block for the kids, in the day, but it sounded that bad we didnt even bother to go to it. There is a little fair for the younger children with cars, bungee jump, inflatable for 2 euros each, there are go karts too, which are 20 euros for 8 minutes, and thats it for the entertainment really! People there were comparing it to a Butlins camp, but I used to be a redcoat and Butlins was 10 times better, the so called entertainers just waltzed around without a hello. Also when we were there, 7 apartments on the Fedra block got broken into, I think thats were the Airtours self catering guests stay. Leda are the best blocks but they are for the all inclusive. It is stated that you can use all facilities, but the Leda blocks semi fenced in, you can get to them by the spar shop. We ate out a few times too, we went to Yummy Yummys you can get a 3 course meal there for 8.50 euros, we ate in the chinese (the one on the left up stairs) that was 7.90 for 2 courses, and also Tivoli, just to left of the main Bellevue entrance, that was a bit pricey but well worth it. If you have younger children who like Bob, Fimbles and Tweenies, try the Peach Pit as they have a character every night from 9 who dances, but again, the "entertainer" seems more interested with the football thats on the TV. I know it seems that I am moaning, but I am just trying to give you an honest insight and not to be mislead, seriously think before booking to come here. I spoke to lots of people at the airport who stayed at the club mac marte, saturno, jupiter (its one big hotel) and they all commented on how fantastic it was there, we might try there next year, hope its ok! Just to wrap it up, we spoke to 5 different groups on this holiday and not one of them said that would come back to Bellevue and how disappointed they were, so I know that its just not me! Hope this has been some use to you!

We stayed in the Bellevue in Sept 2006, we went with Airtours they were useless, the apartments were manky, under no circumstances would you make food there, our room was not cleaned the whole time we stayed there, yet we had the best holiday we have ever had. The pancake man on the main street was fab we went every nite Luna's bar lovely, beach fab, also go 2 Romas, it has the nicest food ever. Bargain like mad with the street sellers and u will get a reduction.... and moonlight walks 2 the beach are a must.

I went to the Bellevue holiday resort and I thought it was brilliant for the kids as well as the adults. They had loads of activities going on through the day right until the night time. There was 8 different pools in the resort, shops, you name it they had it. The beach was really close and the town centre was right there. I had a wonderful time and I'm planning to book another holiday there for next year.

The Bellvue apartments are really clean and nice - the only doubt about the apartments is that they have no air conditioning but that don't matter you can just either rent or buy a fan.
By every apartment you have a really nice pool which is cool, and the size of the pool depends on the size of the apartments e.g if its small you get a small pool if you've got a big apartment then its a big pool.
The entertainments at night are brilliant but there's just one show you have to see there, and that is ABBA - its brilliant but Robbie Williams i think aint all that good but its all nice you'll really enjoy it.
I went self-catering so me and my family went out for a meal every night. The resteraunts you'll have to go try are "yummy yummy", " and "Lunas Grill" ( have the kebabs).
Also you HAVE to see the pancake man which dances while he makes pancakes you'll know where he is because heres always a crowd of people around him. He's at the bridge on the main street he makes the best pancakes EVER!! You'll never believe the energy he has. He is only open in the evening.
If you want to go places on a bus then go with No Frills rep and go to the pirates show its amazing!! its litrally the best show in the world you'll love it! Also go to Aqualand - that is so good you'll enjoy every bit of it the rides are really good.
Both of the places are about an hour away from the Bellevue.
If you just like bags, belts and watches then the Inca market is the place, its really big so i didnt like it much but never mind.
Also the people who give bad reviews - don't listen to them its nothing at all wrong with it at all. Me and my family loved it so much that we are going again next year! Tour Operator: First Choice

What a relief we're home, the worst resort I have ever stayed in. The resort was like a Butlins camp - dirty, noisy, miles from beach, you have to get up at 0600am to get a bed by the pool, what a nightmare. The town is really busy but there are some nice reataurants and bars. We thought it was expensive not a cheap holiday at all. We didn't see the reps for the whole two weeks we were there. Rooms were ok but bring fans and lots of mosquito repellent as we were bitten to death. Pools nice but extremely busy and at least 6 people slipped breaking ankles and legs around pool areas so beware!! Would never go back. Tour Operator: My Travel/Airtours

We arrived back from Majorca a couple of weeks ago and would never go back to the Bellevue, it put me off so much I would probably never do Majorca again!!! Stayed at Seres 1, I don't know where to start really the only entertainment you got was in the show garden tribute bands e.g robbie, abba etc....but the mozzies eat u alive, as its right on the lake. Drinks very dear too!! Our mozzie repellent did not work. Our pool was nice, but anyone could use it so trouble getting beds....the worst thing is the flies there are loads of them. I have video footage of people swatting flies all day, may sound funny but it gets to u after 2 weeks....its constant. The weather was up and certainly down considering we went August 6th-19th... few days that bad we just stayed in. If u like a holiday with lots to do entertainment and are a sun worshipper this is not the place to go. If however u like flies, mozzies, hardly no entertainment, and hardly no shops except old tat then go ahead! The only bar our kids did not get bored in was the Picadilly it was ok for us only because the kids were happy. Read all reviews before u book. I have never wrote a bad review yet, this is honestly my first. THEY CANT ALL BE WRONG. The people who say how can people like me moan obviously like different things everyone entitled to their own opinion, and mine is DONT GO THERE! Tour Operator: First Choice

I have just arrived back yesterday evening from the Bellevue and I enjoyed it. When we first arrrived they had double booked and sent us 2 the apartment up teh road for the nite but didnt mind as they sed we can claim this on the insurance. Once we arrived at the Bellevue it was faboulous i dont no what all the comlaints are most of the time, i hardly saw any1 with mosquito bites and didnt hear any1 complain. The food is excellent a real variety for children and adults and free drinks are great too. On a night i recomend the Morroco bar a great place with good music and the staff are lovely especialy Anna a very pretty young bar worker. The show garden is ok too with shows from Grease, Elvis, Abba and Westlife but can get busy so make sure you have a table by 9 ish for the main show at 10. The all inclusives end at midnight too. We stayed in Sirena 1 and when the maid visits she doesnt sweep sand off the floor she only changed teh beds once in a week. The TV is ok some foreign channels and a few english (sky news, cbeebies bbc1 etc) and yes the porn chanel! I thought there were a lot of Spanish there even tho we were in Spain ther just seemed to be more. In reception all the information is wrote in German too which is strange. Next door we had a man who snored so that kept me awake alot. For teenagers like me there is a big group who hang about in he morroco barr playin pool so if you dont like teenagers thats not the place for you but me and my mum loved it, There is a couple of onsite shops and the prices are ok, Alcudia in its self has many shops which are fairly cheap and if u want perfume buy it in Majorca not at the airport or on the plane its so much cheaper , mine was £14 instead of £22 ish. The complex is very large though and when you arrice you think u will nevr find your way round but you will soon learn after the first day or two. All inclusive drinks can only be consumed from Diana or Sirena pools but there are about 5 others you can go to. If you like Spaghetti bolognase and pasta then you will partculy enjoy teh food here. For self catering there is a restraunte that looked quite popular just near the show ground. The beach is gorgeous pure white sand and a clear sea and the weather was lovely although im not sure if it was just this week or if it was the resort we stayed at but a wind was often blowing but was nice so u didnt get too hot! I never heard any complaints about this holiday from anyone n i really enjoyed it and would recomend it for any ages! Tour Operator: Jet 2

Arrived back home yesterday and oh what a relief !! Our apartment at Bellevue was a two bedroom on the corner right on the road and although the entertainment on site was very noisy at least it stopped at a reasonable hour. Not so the bars on the the street right outside our apartment, most of which carried on until 3 a.m. and therefore was unable to have the windows open at night. Suffocating, although we had the foresight to take two small fans with us. If you are looking for a holiday camp type holiday this is for you but definitely not for me. My first and positively my last visit. Not impressed by the very basic accommodation, standard of cleanliness and clearly not very helpful staff. The only pleasant part of this whole fiasco was the very pleasant and helpful Cosmos Reps. Tour Operator: Cosmos

Where to begin, we arrived in Palma at more or less midnight and had to pay around 100 euros for the taxi. When we arrived at the Bellevue apartmants it was pitch black flooded and we didn't know where to go. When we finally found the reception we were told our family room of two bedrooms to sleep the four of us my dad and stepmum aged 40 in one room and my brother aged 9 and me aged 13 was not available and we would be having a one bedroom room until 02.00pm the next day because of the mix up they gave us two fans for the week for free. When we arrived at a room (after finding it) our key card didnt work leaving my dad (who was trying but failing to break the door down) and my brother to return to reception to get another key card when we finally got in our room we couldn't unpack and all our clothes were damp we left the room for dinner (a Burger King). The next day we got our room found out at was at the very end of the complex so to get anywhere was a massive treck. The pool was always full and freezing by the way and you had to get up at dawn to bagsie a sunbed so me and my brother borrowed some while people went for a swim. There were dirty nappies and tissues around the pool. However there was a chink of light at the end of the tunnel you could hire Chuckle Wagons, Scooters and Go Karts, there was also a Spar which sold Sweets. The Resturants were very nice in the high street I would recommend Lunas Grill which was very nice and also has Madonna on one night (not the real one of course) also the show garden provided band tributes erm Abba, Westlife, Lord of the Dance , Acrobates and Robbie Williams on a Thursday avoid him if you can, the Grease show or the Disney Show should be given a miss too as they are just the Reps miming along to some songs which they must think is absolutely wounderful. For us Kids there is a fair right next to the entertainment which includes bungee trampolines and giant inflatable slides. But bware the evil friction burns. For parents I would recommend giving your kids a daily allowence for the fair and hire of scooters etc. There is also a go Kart track where you can drive proper Go Karts 20 euros a person for eight minutes. However that is the only good thing about the Bellevue Alcudia. The rooms were hot, so thank god for the fans but gee were they noisey and don't open you window as the Army of Ants will capture you. I found some in my wardrobe, this was ont the ground floor there is graffiti too. Now I'm coming to the end of my review and the most important part. It is next to a lake and I got bitten by some insect not quite sure what it was though not one ot two bites even ten we are talking 40, anyway some were bigger than 50p coins. So the moral of the story is don't book a holiday to Bellevue Apartments, Alcudia. Tour Operator: Traval Agent

Arrived home from Bellevue 2wks ago and would never go back. I think Bellevue should provide fans in all the apartment rooms as a package, having to by fans just to keep cool is wrong, they should be provided free! Our room was dirty and so were the corridor floors, the lifts broke down every day and even the emergency button did not work inside the lift for help....what use is that???!!!! We took our 3yr old child to the fair on the complex and let him on the small roller coaster ride which was being operated by a member of their arrogant drunk staff! I complained about this and they never got back to me. The mozzy's were out in millions which is'nt the hotels fault but just be aware of this !! The pools were lovely but do need some repair as there were lots of cracks and holes around them. The shops were very repetitive but at least they made the walk to the beach betta !

We went to the Bellevue for two weeks as our first holiday abroad together. I was extremely worried having read many bad reviews about the Bellevue but we decided to go with no expectations so, in theory, we couldn't be disappointed!
The accommodation wasn't fantastic but it was fine as a base, as you don't tend to spend alot of time there anyway. Our room was cleaned every other day, so no complaints there and I found the staff to be extremely helpful and pleasant. The lack of air conditioning was a problem and we thought hiring a fan was absolutely ridiculous! We decided to buy a fan from the shop at the Bellevue as that worked out cheaper than hiring one for two weeks which is crazy! I was also hell bent on bringing it home with me so the hotel couldnt keep it and hire it out. So I now have a fan with the wrong plug on doing nothing upstairs!
We didn't enjoy the food in the buffet restaurant, as we went half board. We went for the first few days and then decided to eat out. I am a vegetarian though and didn't really have a lot of choice at all. We found the best place to eat was the Bellevue cafe onsite. The kids menu in particular was very good value for money and lovely food.
We didn't see much of the entertainment as our 1 yr old had other ideas! However, I did make a point of taking our daughter to watch the Disney show which we both enjoyed immensely! We also went to the mini disco every night as both children really enjoyed it. We even bought the cd and still do a train around the house most nights!
There is certainly plenty to do in Alcudia and the beach is absolutely fantastic! The sea is very shallow for a long way out and warm.
Whilst there we went on two excursions to the Western Water Park and the Caves of Drach. The water park was really good fun although it is a good hour on the bus which is not ideal with a 1 yr old. The Caves of Drach however was a complete disaster. We weren't told when we booked it that the pushchair wouldn't be allowed so it was a complete nightmare! I definitely wouldn't recommend this trip with any under 5s. We also visited the Hydropark in Alcudia which we really enjoyed as it was definitely more suitable for children. If you are an adult group looking for thrilling rides then don't bother going! The food there though was an absolute joke. It was fast food which was so overpriced it was ridiculous. My daughter got a hotdog but the bun was so hard she couldn't even bite it. I would definitely take your own food as there is a picnic area. It really was a lovely day out though, despite the food!
The mosquitoes were a problem but as long as you take plenty of repellent and keep putting it on then they will stay away. We got the tropical strength and the children didn't get one bite. I would definitely recommend keeping the balcony door closed at night to keep them out.
All in all we had an excellent holiday. It is definitely what you make it and for the price you really can't complain. There is no such thing as a perfect holiday so go with an open, positive mind and have fun!!

Went on holiday with a group of 24 family members, very disappointed with Bellevue. We found the apartments very shabby and to our great dismay no air conditioning. Complex too large, hygiene around the pool areas very poor, my advice to anyone going to book Bellevue - don't bother. Tour Operator: Panarama

I don't know what all the complaints are about, I went with my boyfriend for a week and I've been with my family twice for 2 weeks when I was younger and each time I've had a fantastic holiday. Sure, the apartments aren't exactly palaces but they're what you'd expect for a 3*. We stayed for a week and the maids came 3 times. The pools are clean from my experiences, and when we went this year we sunbathed on the grass next to the lake and Minerva hotels which meant we got a lovely breeze and the heat wasn't unbearable!
We found that the entertainment at night on the complex and in the resort was perfect for us - as a couple we don't really want to go clubbing but we didnt want to be bored! Plenty of bars, and some of the shows on the big stage in Bellevue were brilliant. Look out for the pancake man on the bridge who dances while he makes them!! We found that there weren't many groups of rowdy friends like you'd find in Ibiza - mostly families and couples roughly our age.
And as for all you miserable lot moaning about the beach being too far away, well it does give the distance in the brochure, but it's really not as far as you're making out. If you don't like it then get the boat that takes you across the lake to a quieter part of the beach!
All in all, yet another fantastic holiday at the Bellevue, would definitely recommend it to others. Can't wait to go back next year! Oh and other people are right when they say to take plenty of mosquito repellent! Tour Operator: My Travel

We arrival at Bellevue expecting a great family holiday. What we got was far from it. The stagnant lakes on site attract mosquito's so we were bitten to death during our first week. Some other holidaymakers had to get early flights home because they were bitten that bad. The apartment TV had access to some english channels. I left our 3 year old watching cbeebies at 9am while I went into the kitchen to get her a drink. When I came back, she had pressed the remote and was watching hard core porn - I would have expected this to be blocked in a family complex! The apartment is a fair walk away from the beach, not ideal when you have a 3 year old who wants to look in all the shops. The hotel staff shrugged their shoulders when it was reported that kids were throwing bottles down the stair wells. We were told that the room would be cleaned once a week. We had been there a short time when our daughter dropped a biscuit. So as not to attract any more ants, we immediately got out the sweeping brush. When we moved the table away from the wall, there was a large cobweb which proved that the maids didn't clean the apartments thoroughly between tenants. Some of the furniture was unstable and therefore unsafe. The apartments do not have any air conditioning which makes life unbearable in the hottest months - we went in July and couldn't sleep becuase of the heat.
There are only 2 things that we liked about Bellevue. The 1st is the little fairground which is great for young children. The 2nd is the entertainment. Each night there is a different show held in the show garden. The acts range from tributes to Westlife and Abba, to chinese acrobats. The entertainment team should be applauded for their hard work in arranging the entertainment. But, Bellevues facilities are open to all, even if you aren't staying there. My advice is don't stay there and just call in to watch the show or use the fair. Tour Operator: My Travel

Just back from two weeks at Bellevue with daughter and grandchildren. Had a super time don't know what all the moans are. Sure it's a bit noisy at night and they could be done with more security to keep the noise down, and yep it is a 30min walk to beach but walking is good for you. don't forget you can get the boat there for 3 euros return. loads for the family to do kids loved it and the shows were good. yummy yummies just across from main entrance to complex did 3 course meals for 8 euros - good food and very friendly. You must try the pancakes on main street, bliss, the guy making them is brill treats it like a work of art. sure there was a problem with people booking sunbeds but sorry to say the Brits were the worst. My only complaint was our maid who needs to learn how to use a brush and mop. but all in all great holiday with plenty to do. and as for the mosquitos well they were no worse than the scottish midgies. We certainly didn't have to pay to hire a kettle just the fan but come on Bellevue get up to date and get air conditioning or people will not come back although we are booking again next year. The Bellevue was the best place to stay in Alcudia with seven swimming pools to choose from it was great (althogh we did get our towels stolen all 5 !!!), the rooms were basic but clean, maids came every other day with towels bedding e.t.c . Great location - you have got plenty of bars and restraunts to choose from within easy walking distance. Tour Operator: My Travel

Me and my boyfriend booked up for the Bellevue hotel in February 2006 and after reading the reviews we thought we were going to be swamped with kids screaming and nothing to do but for the price we got it at all inclusive we couldnt miss it. When we arrived it was pitch black and luckily the little van drove us round to our room, can't remember the block name now! Think it was the cirrus 1. But anyway, all the staircases were dark, lift was not working so we had to drag our bags up two flights of stairs. We got to our room and it was a bit shabby and old fashioned and the smell was terrible. Especially when we opened the balcony doors! So i reported this to reception saying we were not happy and they agreed to move us to the Mirvana II. How glad am I that I complained because the room was much better, cleaner more modern and a superb view, 6th floor, poolside view. We had a fabolous holiday, kids were all well behaved, not much noise, meals were good, not ideal for the picky eaters tho! Entertainment was gr8, with me being a Robbie fan I loved that night the best. We are now looking to book up again for next May. Also, when we were there in May, you could get all inclusive drinks from all the bars but a notice was up on 31 May saying how it would change due to high season. Really good holiday, defo would recommend to anyone thinking of going! Tour Operator: Hello Holidays

Well I was surprised as I had been to Bellevue 10 yrs ago and it wasn't very good. Now, there is so much to do for the kids, the food was very good with plenty of choice, very clean and the staff very friendly. Apartments and studio are a good size, better than I have experienced before, I would recommend all inclusive, its good value for money. The entertainment was good but beware of the mosquitoes !! as the stage is next to the large lake. I would rate this holiday 8/10. Had a wonderful time with my family and my kids loved it. Me and my sis and my dad went 2 stay for a few days and I have to say the Bellevue hotel was simple with no air con, but the town itself was amazing. Def Bells disco and Kaos bar - even tho my sis and me are only 16 we had fun and the bar staff were very friendly. We danced the night away every night til 6am at Bells. They have different themes every night and we definately enjoyed white night where you have to go dressed all in white. The beach is lovely too and the shops. So overall we enjoyed our stay apart from the big hangover we got at the end of it all but the hotel wasnt as we hoped it would be.

I have been to this accomodation twice, once when I was a child with my parents, and now with my own family and have thoroughly enjoyed it both times. My children's ages range from 2yrs to 15yrs and they were all well catered for. The apartments are well looked after and we had a maid nearly every day changing the towels etc. The nightlife was fantastic and we especially loved the Piccadilly which had entertainment aimed at all ages. We would definitely recommend the Bellevue and definitely recommend Alcudia so much so that we are back next year!!!!!! Tour Operator: First Choice

The complex is large and there are plenty of facilities but the whole place is just a bit shabby: nothing really offensive but it would benefit from a clean-up and paint job. This is true of the rooms as our room was not cleaned on arrival and contained some broken furniture. We spoke to other people on site and they mentioned similar problems. Some of our fellow holidaymakers found it amusing to shout and swear at 4am and jump around in the pool, no doubt the same idiots swearing and jumping in the pool at 4pm. We were in the Fedra I apartments at the far side of the complex but we felt that things would have been better had we been placed on the other side of the complex as it just seemed a little better. There are signs everywhere advising the sunbeds cannot be 'booked' but everyone seems to ignore this and the Brits are the worst! The entertainment team do a good job as there are plenty of activities during the day and the evening shows are good. Also the reception staff and maids are very helpful and polite and most of them (reception) speak English. The resort itself is very good, with a great beach and plenty of bars and restaurants on the street right outside the complex - the Tivoli Terrace and Chinese restaurant at the end of the street (I think it was called the Shanghai Garden) were particularly good. On the whole this was a good holiday but lower your expectations with regards to the accommodation or you will be disappointed ... oh yes, take some earplugs if you want some sleep! As a family we really liked Alcudia as a holiday destination, it was only our third time abroad and the best place we have been to because there was so much to see and do. We were staying in the Bellevue Fedra block which was nicely tucked away. Alcudia was split into 2 areas the main strip and the port, the strip was great for entertainment and the port was great for food. We seen a lot of the island as well, all of our excursions were booked with a company called no frills excursions, based in the complex. They do every excursion that there is in Mallorca, and they were mega. The trips were magnifiecent, brilliant service, excellent guides, especially Gavin he is so funny and made the journeys really enjoyable. Each trip was at least 8 to 10 euros cheaper then the reps, we made massive savings. Tour Operator: Airtours

It's really wicked I would definitely go back there again. Me and my dad and his mate with his son loved the pool, it was great. Brilliant holiday. Met these wicked reps Tanya and Hayley from the bar crawl. There was 7 of us and when we got to Alcudia we nearly died as its full of families and pushchairs everywhere. The resort itself is good, although geared towards families. The beach is huge going on for about 10k.
We went to Goodfellas bar, Peach Pit, Kaos and the best one of all Latino. As the resort is quiet we bought tickets for bar crawl and a trip to Magaluf from Tanya in Kaos. They made it the best two nights of our holiday. Thanks girls if you read this. They are fit as well!!

Great holiday; weather fantastic. Nice beach, massive resort.
Bellvue apartments good for families even if a bit like Butlins! Loads to do for kids. Apartments clean and tidy. As would expect for 3 star accommodation.
Went to Marineland with kids. They loved it and so did we. Aquacity waterpark was also great fun. Went to Inca market too, and Caves of Drach. Booked all the trips with Hotel Siesta just next door because someone told us that they do cheap excursions. Paid much less than we would have done with the rep. Went with a company called No Frills Excursions. The guide, Gavin, on the trips was very good; funny, helpful and friendly.
Alcudia was a nice resort but we prefered the port area to the Bellevue area. Would go again and would recommend Bellevue complex to families. Tour Operator: My Travel

hola everyone! alcudia is absoloubtley fantastic!i would definetly go 2 bellevue again . the acomodation is fantastic.the food in the cafeteria is great. its well worth going to alcudia just to go to see the two funniest people in the world, that work on a little ferry boat that takes you to the beach. the ferry is mega cheap. it only costs 3 euros and it saves you walking for 30 minutes to get to the beach. i think the people on the boat are the two of the funniest people i have ever seen. they made my holiday wonderful.the little skinny "decky" was da funniest, even though he looks a bit gay! Been to Bellevue twice and I would go back tomorrow. Loved it! Entertainment was fantastic. Years we went were June 2005 and 2006. Both times weather was just right. A family of 17 of us went. Brill time went to the Wild west Water. Very good. Can't wait to go back next year but to a different complex as it is only me and husband and 2 kids now all grown up and go on their own.

The Bellevue is a nightmare the rooms are shabby and hadn't been cleaned on our arrival. No air con so you have to pay 35 euros to hire an electric fan. Someone was sick in our pool one morning and it was still floating round late afternoon. Teenagers speed round the complex on motorised scooters beeping the horns until the early hours. The Bellevue is a standing joke with all the dj's in Alcudias bars, they ask who organised the escape party. The food is o.k but the restaraunt is plagued by flies. Alcudia itself is very nice and we would return but not to the Bellevue.

I stayed at the Bellevue Hotel in Alcudia for two weeks we have four kids. The kids really liked it. We are hoping to go back one day. The staff were really nice and the food was good too. Plenty of choice to choose from. The staff were really nice and helpful, the rooms were nice and clean. We are hoping to go back there again one day. The beach was really nice and if you have never been abroad that's a good place to go to. We met a nice family from there - Angie, Paul and her two great girls who also come from Manchester somewhere near Didsbury I think. If you remember us call us by replying to this site somehow X

Vast attractive very open choice with no fencing or restrictions. Guests are free to use whichever pool or area takes their fancy. Plenty of facilities means no need to venture off site – which could be rather a hike depending on location within complex; it is a 20-min walk from one side to the other. Grounds incorporate massive entertainment stage with extensive seating. On-site activities include cycle hire, volleyball, tennis, minigolf, 5-a-side football, squash and go-karts; boats available. Ferry boat across lake to within 200 yds of beach. All accommodation has kitchen facilities. Hotel/ Aparthotel, 1474 Rooms.
