The Continental Park is great - love it - Donna. Date of travel: Aug 2008
I don't know what people expect from a hotel that has just gone an all inc this year there is nothing wrong with Continental Park hotel at all . All the staff at this hotel are very polite the hotel is kept very clean and yes the rooms are a little small but you're only there for 7/14 days. Sue and Margarita on the reception are great I have been there 8 times and my kids love it the and will be going back next year as I have made friends there keep up the good work all the staff and see you all next year. Please Carl, come back you're great xx Donna from Manchester

Don't even bother - Helen. Date of travel: Jun 2008
All inclusive Continental Park 1 week of hell was supposed to be a great family holiday. Food was ok but entertainment was dreadful, there wasn't anything for the kids to do apart from play in the pool which is great but when weather wasn't so good there was nothing going on. They had a cinema and a soft play area which didn't open once its no hotel for young families I have been on loads of package holidays and we would have had a lot more fun at Butlins, if you consider a drag act with men touching each other up as a family holiday for children aged 2 and 5 then this is the place for you.

Continental Park Hotel, Alcudia - Donald Taylor and Claire Taylor. Date of travel: Aug 2006
Aug 2006. The easiest thing to say is dont go - you cant swing a cat in the rooms, sun beds are not easy to get because all the English prats are so ignorant they run in front of you when the doors open, pool is tiny and full of little wild sh**s the only thing that you cant fault is the food and the beach! The beaches by this hotel are superb, especially for kids, which is just as well as the hotel pool area is very small and only has sun beds for a third of the guests. The hotel is situated near to a nature reserve so it was impossible to sit and watch the entertainment without been continually bitten by mosquitos. The hotel refused to use any form of deterrent (candles on the tables etc) The rooms are ok for 2 people but any more would not be comfortable. The hotel controls the air conditioning so it comes on at 22h00 and goes off at 01h00, the room then gets very hot and stuffy; if you open the balcony door you have the mosquito problem again. the air conditioning then comes back on at 07h00. Some of the Spanish staff are not very friendly and you must always check your change (always remember the last 3 digits of large notes just in case). Drinks prices are a little high especially at dinner: 2E for water that costs 60 cents in the shop. If you need a doctor one comes in to the hotel every day but it will cost 60E before he starts. Its always a good idea to identify hospitals that take E111 before you go. Taxis are cheap and so is the bus service. This was one of the few holidays I have looked forward to coming home, which is a shame as most of the issues could have been addressed. But they know the Brits will put up with anything. Continental Park Apartments - Sarah Watts & Family. Date of travel: Oct 2005
We had an absolutely excellent time at Continental Park. We stayed in the apartments overlooking the main coast road, and the beach. The apartment was very spacious, very clean, plenty of storage. Bedroom was big and airy. The bathroom had no window, but was very clean and functional. The variety of shops within walking distance to replenish food stocks was plentiful. There are lots of Spar Shops and a large supermarket about 10 mins walk towards Puerto Pollensa. There are lots of reasonable places to eat out. Plenty of choice and variety. We found a great place and ate there every evening. We found the pool area ok, the kids pool was brilliant for our son as he was only 7 and he was wary about getting out of his depth.. We found the bar staff very pleasant and helpful. Kids Club staff were helpful too. We have booked up again to go back next year, and would be prepared to go back every year!! The resort was great, not too built up and touristy like the main town which was about a 40 minute walk away. Don't get me wrong there are plenty of shops, bars, restaurants etc, but you are not on top of each other. I would highly recommend it. Your holiday is what you make it, and if you don't want a resort that is geared towards families and children, then I would suggest that maybe this particular hotel/apartments isn't for you, but the location of Continental Park is superb and there are plenty of other hotels and apartments within close proximity. It would not bother me though, as I like going on holiday, and now that we have found a place we like with accommodation that we also like, if I went every year for the next 30 years, families enjoying themselves would not bother me at all. In the apartments, you are detached from the hotel overlooking the road and sea, and you can always people watch on your balcony from there!!
