First off, be warned! if you dont like stairs, dont go to Cala Mayor - its on a steep hill and alot of the hotels are on the slope. However, most hotels (the Blue Bay included) provide free buses to the beach. Bonus of the hill are the views for sure. Second warning - this is not the place for the 18-30 crowd! very little entertainment (alot is in Spanish - dont complain though as you;ve chosen to come to Spain!!!). There are very few bars and restaurants and the Blue Bay doesnt really try and compensate. However, this is the perfect place to relax and unwind and avoid the yobbos (mostly). Catch the bus to Palma Nova or Magalluf for a bit of that. Back to the hotel: the rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was good and the pool was good too.
