Basic, Clean Holiday Apartment - Mike, Frankie, Joe, Issy. Date of travel: Aug 2007
Don't expect a holiday with kids reps etc like the one's you've had with Thomsons etc. Don Pedro Apartments is a very basic block but clean, quiet (apart from road) and the unusual luxury of not having the get up at 6.00 in morning to get a sun bed. Pool is a little small but when we were there we had it to ourselves most days as guests staying here did tend to use the beach a lot. Can be a little cold but with the right weather it's just what you need to cool you off. Location is great for the beach and shops, bars etc. Only a 5/10 minute walk to the heart of everything. The main road can be a little noisy at night and early morning from traffic not drunks!! Pleasant "tapas" bar attached the apartments but no entertainment and not much for kids. Ours lived in the pool most of the week.
