We had an excellent holiday in Barcelo Ponent Playa Hotel. Rooms were cleaned daily and restaurant was good, with good choice of food. Staff were lovely, we went with our little son and he was looked after so well by the staff. The pool at the hotel was pristine and lovely and warm and the beach was right next to the hotel and although it was quite crowded it was still lovely to go down and have a dip in the sea. We weren't into the entertainment but kids seemed to enjoy it. Same with the disco. I have no problem recommending the Barcelo Ponent and would probably stay there again if we return to Cala dOr.
