There was 9 of us all together all 18 from Yorkshire!! We had a fantastic time!! We were expecting it to be a family hotel but when we arrived it was full of groups of young lads and lasses which we didn't mind it was quite fun when everyone was around the pool in the day!! I wouldn't recommend it for families with kids though! Food was great and we had a lot of fussy eaters and vegetarians with us so thumbs up!! Maids were so patient and very good! Overall it was a very clean hotel!! Ace location for pubs & clubs (especially BCM) and beach... Don't expect much sleep before 6am corridors are very noisy!! Oh and the lifts are rubbish luckily we were on the 3rd floor so we walked but if I was on the 9th floor I would have been very annoyed!! We would definitely go back - great value for money!

I went with a group of four other girls and we found the Hotel Samos to be great! Despite what others have said about the food, we found ourselves putting on weight we ate so much... definitely don't know what there was to complain about. Our room was always tidied everyday too... the staff on reception were a little moody, but that didn't really matter to be honest. The rooms are nice and the pool was great with loads of sunbeds available, although most people go down to the gorgeous beach anyway. The location is great - you are right next to BCM, but you don't hear anything as it is all sound-proofed. At the end of the holiday, we came home happy and want to return back to the hotel and Magalluf as soon as possible!

I would compare the hotel to a youth hostel!! The rooms themselves were okay except my friends room had her wardrobe door hanging off its hinges!! The food wasn't the best so we chose to eat out most nights as there wasn't a lot of choice. I found the staff rude! They weren't helpful in the slightest and everything you asked of them was an effort. When we checked out of the hotel I overheard a conversation between one guest and the receptionist who had lost all the people staying in that particular room's passports...The staff were absolutely useless. We also had to wait for our room to be cleaned hours after we arrived at the hotel. We weren't given any toilet roll for the duration of our stay and when we rang down to reception we were told that the Housemaid had left for the day so we would have to make do - even though we had nothing left, so managed to scrounge some off a neighbour!!! All in all, I wouldn't recomend this hotel to anyone....My boyfriend stayed a couple of years ago & I think it's completely gone downhill since he stayed!

The food in this hotel was not to a very high standard, we struggled to find something to eat when we went to the restaurant, also the door handles kept falling off mine and my other friends room doors, and the air conditioning fan in my room was dangerously close to falling off the ceiling. I stayed at the Hotel Samos for 2 weeks and I thought the staff were very nice and the hotel was also very nice. The pool area was comforting and enjoyable and I would definitely reccommend this hotel.
