Holiday at Alcudia Pins - G. Hall and fam. Date of travel: Aug 2006
We had a great stay at the Alcudia Pins hotel - the rooms were basic but clean (although maids came rather sporadically), somewhat on the small side but you dont go away to spend all day in your room now do you? The entertainment in general was very good and my kids loved it - had an excellent time. The pool could get crowded but still decent and you are also very close to the beach. Also, dont try the towel on the sunbed trick - they keep it very fair by removing the towels so no one can be ridiculous and "book" them at stupid hours. Plenty for everyone. The food selection was fantastic too. This is definitely a very family orientated hotel so would NOT recommend for a quiet break, this would be your worst nightmare. For parents like us, it gave us a chance to relax while the kids made new friends and had a ball. Staff in general were helpful and friendly. We heard some complaints from other guests about dirty rooms, noise etc but I really think this is luck of the draw and where you end up because we had a great stay!
