The Iberostar Dunas Park hotel has lovely gardens, nice pool with decent shade and in general is a pleasant hotel, with friendly and very helpful staff (always a bonus!!)- this was our second time round and glad to see not too much has changed (except for the better). The location of the hotel is ideal - you are right smack on the beach and the local restaurants and shops etc are close by. Rooms are generally clean and neat, and have eveything you need. We generally eat out when there so not too fussed about the facilities in terms of burners, kettles etc. but usually there are the basics. Be warned, however, that there can be a lot of noise (I read a review on another site where someone complained about the noise of the sea!! kind of makes you wonder why on earth they would choose a seaside vacation!??!), especially from the road and sometimes from other neighbouring hotels, and it really does depend on what side you are on. However, we had an excellent time and would probably come again.
