The Mallorca Palace Hotel is absolutely ideal for couples wanting a peaceful, relaxing holiday. The hotel had a couple of young children in it when we were there but in general it does not cater specifically for youngsters, so a quiet time, even around the pool and in the dining room. The excellent hotel rooms have all the standard features of a modern hotel (Mallorca Palace Hotel was built in 1999) including air-conditioning, which by European standards is quite good. The food in the dining room, although buffet each night is of a very high standard, with items such as lamb, chicken, prawns, and salmon all cooked as you order. The sweets are very tempting, including ice-cream, so self-restraint is required! Food (Coooked food, meat, fish etc. as well as a variety of salads and sandwiches) is also available from the poolside cafeteria from 10.30am. to 4.00pm. each day. The staff throughout the hotel are fantastic, being friendly, helpful and efficient, a combination not always found in hotel staff. The reception is superbly managed and with a multi-lingual staff, everything is dealt with fantastically well in several languages. Overall a great hotel and one we would definitely recommend and visit again.
