Three of us went to Los Cristianos over the xmas and the new year period, and been here at the Princesa Dacil Hotel before. The hotel is of a very good standard, rooms are clean, bathrooms cleaned every day, food is good if a little bit boring ,the kitchen cooks things like a Mexican day a Mediterranean day but not a British day. It could with a good old roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. The bus service is very good. if using these get a bono card at 12 euros. This will get you travel at half price, but be careful at the bus station I was nearly robbed by a pickpocket Queuing for a bus, watch for people jumping the queue it's the second one that slips his hand into your pocket (do all pockets up before joining the queue).
Shops to avoid are the camera shops these all owned by Pakistanis, the camera you want will always have a problem eg poor picture!!! And he will try to sell you a no name one, he will also try to sell you a SD card at a very high price, DON'T BUY! The shops to really avoid are, Max Electronics & paradise. These 2 shops are on the Beach front and are both hooks, the paradise sells gigs at £14.95 for Superkings but when you go to pay he puts on tax which bumps it up to £18. The Bar/cafes all tout for trade, stopping you in all the streets and beach front. This after a while gets a bit tiring, just say I have eaten in hotel. They will accept this in good humour. Overall this is a good resort and I cant wait to go back.
