California Apartments - Lara-May Gratton. Date of travel: Aug 2007
Wow what a holiday that was, apartment was very basic you can only have packet patas. There is only two hobs rings, but there is a toaster and kettle, you don't pay for that, but you do have to pay for the deposit box. Very helpful, but you will end up spending a lot of money if you do not do the clever thing. Very basic, nothing else, but there is a restaurant downstairs but it's more like a cafe and it basically closes at 8. Eat out and enjoy yourself.

I stayed in the 'CALIFORNIA' hotel, self catering. I would not recommend it to anybody. As a self catering customer, there was only two oven rings to cook things on.There was no grill and you had to rent your toaster and your safe. Cleaners came regularly, and hotel was clean, which was one of the only positive points. The hotel was very, very basic and definitely for the young party-goers, and definitely not for children. I think that this hotel was really good for people our age who are going away to have a good drink fueled time!! The best thing would be that its only 5-10mins (if that) walk away from the Strip! and the Calli Bar next door to our hotel where we went nearly every nite for our tea!! and then back again for our Vodkas And Red Bulls!! which were onli 1 Euro! We Had A Top time!! Tenerife 06!! Tour Operator: Thompson
