well,i should say that palm haven is a quiet and lovely place by the beach..which we stayed for our summer holidays ,was so cool. There we had the most tastiest sea food,and the staff was very helpful..the rooms were upto the standards..hot water ,ac..etc..i just would recommend anyone to stay there,of all above, its really worth for the little money you spend.star class facilities for a low budget.

The hotel - Palm Haven Hotel in Marawila - was probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. And I would recommend that anyone coming to Sri Lanka avoids this place. Full of insects, dirty bathrooms and rude owner. They seem to have a hate for white people and had no idea of manners. They have a strange habit of locking people in at 9:30pm with no exit option or entrance after that. Definite no go.
