Just returned from Stockholm staying at the Alexandra Hotel. The hotel is in a quiet area of the city not far from the underground and close to one of the liveliest squares in the Sodermalm district and near the heart of the old city. I was on business and I knew it was a budget hotel, but was quite suprised at just how uncomfortable it was. The rooms were poorly decorated and very small, but worst of all there was no window! Staff were ok and breakfast was edible but I expect there are better hotels nearby.
