Not quite Swiss Quality - Gemma & Rich Hilton. Date of travel: May 2005
When you call yourself a 'Swiss Quality' hotel chain it opens up a host of options for your guest when reviewing their hotel. We stayed at the Drake and Longchamp SQ in Geneva last year and thought the hotel lacked... quality. The cleanliness of the room and the bathroom in particular was questionable, the hotel seemed a bit 'tired' and in need of some TLC, food was fairly reasonable but not wonderful, staff was erratic (some friendly, some totally unhelpful). The hotel is also situated relatively far out from the city (we did know this prior to booking, but this wouldnt suit anyone wanting to be in the mix). Although the hotel is realtively cheap in comparison, this is not the best Geneva has to offer by far and we feel, lacks that 'Swiss Quality' for sure...
