I stayed at the Alpina Hotel on holiday recently and it was great. Firstly, it's conveniently located in the town centre opposite the railway station, with a cable car just over the road. It was quite busy (but not over-crowded), so I'm not the only one who loves it there - I found it hard to drag myself away from the indoor pool, steam bath, salon or sauna to take on the slopes! And the restaurant served such delicious, creative meals (and a buffet breakfast!). You can tell the hotel has recently been refurbished; it's stylishly decorated and the rooms and lounge/bar are stunning. A good management team has ensured friendly, efficient staff.
