RIGIHOF HOTEL HOLIDAY REVIEWS
Rigihof Hotel, Zurich
Zurich and the buses do run on time!!! - Dave Mccall. Date of travel: Aug 2007
When on holiday to me it is the manner & genuiness of the people I meet as well as the material building that I value. The staff at the Rigihof did go far beyond what was necessary in many ways.
For example, it is also the small things that count and we had bought some posters as souvenirs from a fine local gallery - the name and the spelling escapes me -and we had no way of packing the posters safely but some of the Rigihof cleaning staff were extraordinarily helpful and did promise to leave some suitable cardboard in our room that day. The only reason I could talk to the staff in the first place is because of their exceptional friendly attitude in the first place and we had been chatting about the weather, what to do, etc.
They did supply some just right packaging and we got the posters safely home – this meant a lot to my wife and daughter and this also meant a big relief to me as well.
I did take the staff's names and did say after there help that I would send an appreciative message of thanks to the hotel which I am doing now. The staff were Rosa Portugez from Peru or Paraguay – there may well be 1000 of miles between these but I’m sure it was one of them, Rosa is an excellent English speaker as well. Kala Gunosingam, Najie Januz Zenurs, Patricia Mutschier on reception with the ever helpful and young Johanna Hoby. The friendly breakfast staff including Mechelle Heuberger, not to say that the others were not as nice but as they all were and as I was eating and having such a fine time on my last day I thought I must mention a name. It feels to me that it adds some genuine credit to my letter. This is also what all staff have – a genuine attitude that it is impossible to fabricate or force. I did have a relaxing and very pleasant week in Zurich at the Rigihof Hotel and am looking forward to being able to visit again.
Thanks again to yourselves and all of your staff.
