We didn't stay here, but met some South Africans who did, on their honeymoon. Sounds absolutely fantastic, not cheap but reasonably priced by Zanzibar standards, delicious food, very friendly staff and very peacful resort. Chumbe Hotel is the only hotel or commercial operation on Chumbe with its deserted beaches, warm sun and snorkeling on the surrounding calm turquoise sea. You take a short ferry to the island from just outside Stone Town. I will try to go here for a few days if I get an opportunity in the future. See: www.chumbeisland.com Tour Operator: None
