Property salesman say the three criteria for selling your home is 'Location, location, location', and for holiday hotels the same criteria must apply. The Narai Hotel is very well located, close to most of the attractions which Bangkok has to offer. There are a few in Ekkamai which are a little out of reach (eg. Zantika nightclub). The bathroom is not the greatest in the room, but the room itself is comfortable. The hotel has no pretensions of being anything other than a 3 star hotel. Restaurants are good, and are often frequented by locals, especially students from a nearby university. For those who are into that sort of thing, the infamous Patpong road is easy walking distance away, and for those who don't like paying hotel prices for drinks, a 5 minute stroll will take you to a Tesco and/or a 7-11 where you can get a beer for approximately R5.
