The Club Med Phuket offers the perfect balance between comfy holidays and touristy flair. Rooms are very basic, yet cater for every need. Accommodation is all around the resort and the evening entertainment is enough to assist you in sleeping well! Being out of the normal tourist routes, I think this is the perfect getaway hotel, with enough to offer - outside girlie-boys and elephants.
