Fabulous position but terrible place. Spent a week hounded by the Turkish waiters and never felt comfortable/safe in the Hotel. Food was always left uncovered and unrefidgerated and so got covered in flys. Breakfast was minimum effort on the Hotel's part. Pudding bowl of coffe granules and an urn of hot water, cartons of milk (sometimes with drowning flys in it!), bread, jam or honey. Rooms were dirty especially the carpets. On a lighter note visit the Asia Minor bar opposite Orion hotel, hassle free and friendly!
