This was without doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Don't be fooled by the list of amenities etc, as we were. The place is run down, dirty, the staff are very rude and unhelpful and in fact appear to be happy that guests are uncomfortable. There was no air-con which made sleeping very difficult, exposed bare electrical wires twisted together to join them and the lifts would take 10-15mins (I'm not exaggerating!) to get to the correct floor and frequently went out of service with people onboard. The food was very average (we stopped eating there even though it was pre-paid) and the bar put its drink prices up whenever a tour bus arrived. Albatross travel group uses this hotel as a preferred hotel so beware, they clearly have a deal with the hotel though as they also told us it was the best place to exchange money though it turned out to be the most expensive. You couldn't pay me to stay at this place again and I cannot recommend strongly enough to people to steer clear of it.
