We'd been surprised by the great service and kindness of the staff at the Avicenna Hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much. Food was great, the beds were exquisite and the view was absolutely breathtaking. We'd like to thank all the staff, especially the front office chief (Gokhan) for his hospitality and his huge amount help. With directing us around historical Istanbul....me my husband enjoyed a lot! Thank you for your help!

The Avicenna hotel needs renovation, but is very good value for money! Can be a bit noisy, there is a railway line behind the hotel, but the noise didn't bother us too much. No lift. Small bathrooms. The location is great.
