If you are interested in the old ruins of Hierapolis and Aphrodisias, then Koray Hotel is a good base. They arranged the tours for me. The Hierapolis tour also included the white calcium terraces, the best part was taking our shoes off to walk down the terraces. Aphrodisias was more remote, and it was easy to picture the wealth of the ancient city. I was welcomed back to the hotel like an old friend at the end of the day and settled down with a cold beer and dinner.

Friendly and helpful staff at the Koray Hotel, always around to help with my questions about the area. The pool area is the star attraction, just so relaxing among the well-tended trees. They helped with my express bus tickets and transfer to the terminal, and also gave advice on what to see and do. The hotel is very well located but in a more relaxed area of town.
