Accommodation needs improving - Kerry. Date of travel: Aug 2008
The Abacus Sun Gardens hotel was a good 25mins bus journey from the centre of Alanya. However it was quiet right on top of the beach. We walked out of the gates and we were on the beach. You are escorted over the road by security to the beach. The only bad thing was the staff didn't speak much English and the aircon was rubbish. We were the only two who's aircon actually worked at night out of all that spoke English there!! I'd like to go back in a few years and revisit to see if the hotel and surrounding area had been improved. We felt it was a new and upcoming town.
