Couldn't fault the Doganay Beach Club Hotel - all 1st class and very friendly, rooms clean, mini fridge re-stocked daily with water&juice. All inclusive package/value for money-great choice of foods -tea/coffee, juice, water available at all times. They even catered for a wedding of approx 350 guests during our evening meal - very well organised - a treat to watch. Very helpful staff waiting on.

There were 11 of us all together, 5 families ages varied from 10 years, 16, 18, 19, 30s, 40s and 60s. We had five rooms between us, on an all inclusive basis, the hotel and rooms are lovely. Cannot fault that, the maids and beach boy are fab. Rest of staff miserable and rude and only talk english at reception when they wanted the extra £30 for extention of room for night flight. We had to pay Ä1 for fruit juice at breakfast, evening meal there was food for extra euros. The food was the same every day, yes the tomato soup & fresh bread is lovely, but 3 meals and every day was a bit much. We needed a doctor the sunday we were there, reception were not interested in helping us, they said tomorrow shrugged their shoulders and walked away. The maids were fab, our child had an alergic reaction to something and her mouth and tongue swelled up, it was important we got treatment quick, the maids phoned a taxi on their phone and got them to take us to the hospital. The taxi driver stayed with us, even taking us to the chemist and returning us safely back, he was worth his weight in gold. Midnight soup we had the last two days of our 7 day holiday. The restaurant only opened at limited times and you could not get food at any other time, from anywere in hotel, no ice cream and no water, only by the glass from the bar. You had to go to the shop to buy water and they charged top price for what limited stock they had. Only one bar for over 1000 guests with one barman, they served half pint glasses half full if you were lucky, the pop tasted like bubble gum, but the kids loved it. There was no alcohol in any of the drinks, they must have all been watered down. All inclusive was a joke we had to pay £2.50 for half hour pool, table tennis etc they only had one set of cues for two tables. The entertainment well.... all I can say is forget it, it was a joke. Phone calls most nights in the early hours and hammering on the doors frightening the life out of us and the kids, when we complained the reception were not interested in any complaints they just ignored us. Kids running around unsupervised by parents, messing with lifts and putting settees in them to stop them working. Never saw a single rep the whole time we were there. The good points coming home to which reception told us our flights were delayed then that they were cancelled, we text home to find out this was not true and had to ring and arrange our own transfers because the reception only had the German transfer times. When we were there the hotel had a wedding, lovely wedding, but the guests at the hotel were excluded from the resteraunt and had to go downstairs in a small room with even less food. Everyone had to wait ages and there was not enough places for everyone to sit, the food was terrable, everyone complained but they were only interested in the wedding guests. Analya is lovely the bars, shops and restaurants make you welcome and the food was lovely. The dolmus were fun and only cost 2 lira. There were plenty of taxis avilable cost between £15 - £20 one way, worth it in the rain. the free hotel bus only run at 11.15 in morning and 4pm. Would we recommend this hotel??? Not if you are British, only if you are German or Russian, they seemed to get an excellent service.

Well, the location was beautiful and the actual hotel was alright but the staff didnít know how to smile. We had communication problems because they didnít know how to speak English and watch out cause the male staff would actually try it on with us. We had two families travelling with us who had booked a family room but they just gave us a normal room and we had to wait two days for a family room, even though we had already paid for a family room. Some of the tourist sheets were covered with sand from the previous guests. Food wise, they say everything is all-inclusive but you have to pay for water, orange juice, tea, coffee etc. We asked people staying at other hotels if they also paid for drinks but they said they didnít. The food was okay, rather bland.

We loved the Doganay we where there July 2007 and we are going back at the end of March 2008. The hotel was very clean, the staff could not speak much English but tried to make you feel welcome. The food was great and plenty to pick from. We work all year and wanted a nice relaxing holiday the hotel is great for that. Everything you need is on site but it is only a short bus ride to the town and the hotel has a free bus on as well.

The Dogonay beach Club Hotel was 5km from resort centre and only cost about £10 each way in a taxi. Alternatively you can use the local buses that go back & forth all day for only Ä2 each way. Hotel facilities were fab!
