What a shame this hotel is in such a lovely resort as Icmeler. It is a disgrace - I booked a large family of 24 people and checked out the next morning - our views included a Chinese restaurant skip and waiters quarters. The hotel bathrooms smelt of drains and beds were packed - you could not walk around the room. The pictures on the website are nothing like the rooms. They would not acknowledge to the tour operator that we gave in our keys. Please stay away - but Icmeler is fantastic.

I stayed at this hotel in August 2006 and enjoyed my holiday. The rooms were perfectly adequate and mine was clean and spacious. Situated in the centre of Icmeler, who could ask for a better location? Within easy walking distance from the beach too. The evening meals were very good with something for all tastes! The proprieter seemed a bit grumpy initially but turned out to be really nice and friendly. I had gone over to Turkey to visit my daughter, who lives and works in Icmeler. She came to the hotel on a daily basis and enjoyed the facilities and the hospitality. On the day that I left, the owner told her she was welcome to use the hotel pool whenever she pleased. I was really touched by this and so was my daughter. I would stay there again!

The Bella Mare Hotel is in a prime spot. Pity it lets itself down. The staff are not nice, the food is out for days, no hot water to shower, steep steps to get in the hotel, pool only cleaned twice in two weeks. This hotel needs a lot of time & money spent on it before it's back up to scratch.
