We have stayed at the Celik Apart Hotel for the last 4/5 years, often twice a year. Fatma, Hassan and family are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The apartments are spotless (cleaner NEVER stops), and located in a quiet area which is exactly what we like. It's like home from home.

Just got back from our 2nd year in Icemeler, very quiet which is such a shame as it really is a gorgeous place and the people are lovely. Can't believe how many people remembered us from last year, Celik apartments (booked through Scottravel) are in the old village so a 15min walk into the centre but spotlessly clean and great food with friendly owners and staff. Favourite restaurants were the Wayside (fab steaks) Bonjour (fab pasta) Champagne Bar (fab lamb)Cafe Anna is lovely and tasteful (no dancers) just good wine and great service. All the staff at these places are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. The shopping is brilliant. Jewellery is unusual and great value, Ruby Jewellers and Kurt were by far the best, Metropol was great for jeans and T-shirts a bit more expensive but good quality, Elite was handbag heaven. Again, more expensive but well worth it, if you know your handbags girls then this is the place.....this season Prada (knock-off) £170 but original is about £3000, Definitely try the pedicure/manicure costs about £8 and they do a great job.

Very clean quiet small block of apartments (16) in the old village (about a 15min walk into the centre). Family run, everyone is really friendly and the owners have a private beach (green beach) and will take you there by car everyday if you want. Free sun beds if you eat at the restaraunt there. The food at the Celik is good quality and value. It was our 2nd year at the Celik and can't recommend it enough if you want something small, clean & cheap. Lots of people staying in the Celik have returned over the years so that has to be a good recommendation.
