Icmeler great, but avoid Idas/Metropol hotels - Diane, Geoff, Adam Gray, Max Slaughter. Date of travel: Aug 2006
The Idas/Metropol is advertised as a 4* but would rate it a 2* and that is being generous.On arrival we had to pay £10 deposit for all inclusive wrist band £12 a week NON REFUNDABLE safe. Food Very basic with mint soup,pasta,sausage,chicken nuggets and chips,salad and deserts being a main meal. I was appalled. Lifts break between floors no one comes to help. Pool lights were floating in pool. Poo in pool was removed by guest and chemicals were added. All inclusive bar stopped at 11pm, drinks served in plastic beakers so expect sore lips.
Found uninvited 8yr old local girl in my room unacompanied....explaination was maids daughter.
I was ill for 9 days of the holiday and visited the doctor on my arrival home. I was so dehydrated and had a fever that she contacted the environmental health aparently I am not the only one who has reported it. I gave them the 20 names of others that were ill there too. Tour Operator: Goldtrail
