I read one of the comments about the Lagoon hotel and am very surprised. My girlfriend and I stayed here last July and had a fab time! I stayed here four years ago when the management was different - perhaps that's what the previous reviewer was referring to. Last summer, the hotel had a new manager who was fantastic. His English wife works with him and they have made a huge difference. Staff good fun and very helpful. Food very tasty. What can I say about the pool? Massive, clean and lots of space around it. Rooms kept clean and tidy. Large bar with the cheapest drink prices in Hisaronu. Turkish night good fun. We have booked to go again this year and am really looking forward to it. The Blue Lagoon hotel rooms could do with some refurbishment. poor lighting, no drawer space and limited storage.The balcony is tiny but the air conditioning is efficient. The bathroom is modern and excellent.The buffet breakfast is quite good and an excellent pool with free sunbeds. The £10 a week charge for a useless mini fridge is a joke.The staff are very friendly and helpful especially when you are prepared to spend money in the hotel. A smaller hotel roughly 15 minutes walk to the beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms good but lack storage space. Pool bar could be noisy in the evening which sometimes made sleeping difficult. Also had an obsession of playing music at more than background level around the pool in the afternoon which was annoying. Buffet breakfast satisfactory and the swimming pool itself was great. The Blue Lagoon is a small hotel of about 55 rooms in a quiet area towards the back of the resort. The rooms are small but comfortable, with an excellent bathroom and air conditioning. The balcony is tiny; barely room for 2 chairs. Nice pool area with plenty of sunbeds and the buffet breakfasts were good but lacked variety. Our two disappointments were the noise from the bar with loud music which kept us awake until the early hours and we strongly objected to having to pay £10 a week for an ineffective mini fridge. We stayed at the Blue Lagoon Hotel which was one of the smaller ones but in a nice quiet position. We thought it was especially suited to couples and would certainly return. We would like to see some improvement to the standard breakfasts included in the price, but our only criticism of the accommodation. Tour Operator: Archers Direct

What a great place to relax, we have just spent to weeks there and it was perfect. There is loads to do if you want or you can just chill on the beach or by the pool. The resort is a good size and very easy to navigate, the touts are not to overbearing a polite no thanks and they move on to the next tourist. Look out for the camel but you will be charged for a photo and every where will take english cash, which kind of takes the fun out of it. I would certainly reccomend Olu Deniz to all types of traveller.

The Blue Lagoon Hotel is a three star hotel situated away from the main road offering peace and quiet. A friendly hotel that offers an excellent service. All the shops, bars and restaurants are located 200m into the town centre.
